Problem with emulators is they give every game quicksave/load, which I do not approve of in the slightest! I dont see the logic as ure never seeing how many people are playing the game, yes u can determine how many times the game has made a sale, but some might have bought it and not liked it and moved on to another game ... it happens quite a lot + the developer has already received a payment for the game
My thoughts are that you can apply the above to pretty much anything, but im pretty sure that you would find it massively unfair if you bought a 2nd hand car from the 2nd hand car sales garage, and they told you that you had to pay the manufacturer some more cash before you`ll be allowed to have it .... say it was a piece if artwork -u buy the original, decide to resell it, but then have to tell ure buyer they cannot view/have it unless they pay the original artist some more cash??come on!!
The 2nd hand market is called the 2nd hand market due to the reason that it has been already sold in the 1st hand market n the company that sold it really should just increase the price of it to represent what they thinks its worth in the 1st place ... we all know that if there is a really good game released people will play good money for it.

Are Game companies really going bustIf so you've got to ask the natural question - is that because the games they are releasing either not just good enuf and that people just dont like them? Or is it because massive Global Gaming companies are sucking the blood out of them and leaving them with not a lot of profit for themselves? If its the 1st option - tough! make something better then
If its the latter, then in all fairness they shouldn't have signed up with them in the 1st place n should have thought about it a bit more!
Also game companies have been going bust for years, but there are still people making games, a lot of them who have moved to or created a new firm, came from these bust companies in the 1st place, gaming doesn't just stop because there is a massive market for it out there n someone is bound to try and capitalize on it.
jook13: I was growing tired of the gaming industry too in a way n thats why i started to have a look around at the Free to play games(windows) some of these games are actually free and some have options to purchase extras if u really like the game, i`ll give League of Legends a plug here - its not bad, but it has its bugs.
However im in the process of buggering off M$ completely on my PC n using Linux Mint instead, apart from the obvious benefits of using Linux compared to windows, gaming has really come a far way since i used it 4-5 years ago and the thing i find even better is that a hell of a lot of the really good games are totally free to d/l and play, the devs do the oldskool thing and ask for a donation if you liked the game, of which when they get allows them to carry on creating.
