What does the Thumbs Up icon mean? | Forums

Greetings.

I'm curious what the "thumbs up" icon means, it appears next to some tracks on TC (even ones I haven't completed)

lol i just noticed this myself last night and i assumed it was tracks that i had already downloaded so its just telling you you already have it, but im not certain on this

I am pretty sure that the thumps up means that you have rated the track 5*.

smeg, the symbol.for having downloaded a track is an arrow facing downwards on the upper left corner of the track icon.

No way mate, I see this symbol on tracks I haven't even downloaded!

The already downloaded have an arrow pointing down. The thumbs up from what i understand is for tracks with many positive ratings so you can expect to play something good beforehand. But considering the random criteria by which people vote, i don't think it's really that useful. At least for now.

i just had a good look and there are some tracks with it and some without that i have both played and no longer have downloaded or tracks that i havent even played, i cant seem to work out what they are for, only 1 of my tracks has it and its the 1st track i ever made on evo which isnt the best and full of lag so im confused as to what this is. Its not a friends track, its not a track you have completed, its not 1 thats rated by lots (comparing my tracks that have more rates to the 1 that has a thumbs up) and its not a track you have the platinum for cos there are many tracks with these aspects that do not have the thumbs up logo

can any1 else share some info on this cos im baffled too?

i take that all back lol just checked the highest rated in all trials and every1 of them has a thumbs up so looks like you were right, also i re checked my tracks and the 1 with the thumbs up although it is my 1st and worst track with the least amount of votes it is the only 1 that is 5 stars which is stupid cos i doesnt deserve it, ah well a misleading thumbs up in some cases then but thanks at least i know what its for now

Thumbs up means it has a 5* average rating.

I wish there was a chequered flag-icon on tracks you've finished once already showing in all view modes (TC and list when you add tracks for private mp for example) - would make it easier to not play the same map twice.

Or even better if you played the map but didn't make it to the finish (no matter if sp or mp) give a different sort of icon.
So if you've gone to the finish line, you get a chequered flag on it, if you don't but have played it you get another one (idk, maybe a greyed out chequered flag, or a play-icon of some sort - something that represents you haven't made it to the finish line ).

If you have finished a map, you get at least a bronze medal and you can rate it, so if you see maps unrated or without medal, you can tell that you haven't finished them yet.
