So i had the really original idea of doing a show about Trials...
Yeah, but like i said in the other thread, i'm gonna try do be as community oriented as possible with this one.
But, the thing is, before i go any further with this, i need a Capture device, otherwise, i really couldn't go much further...
So, if you guys could help me picking out a good one, i'd really appreciate it.
These are the ones i've found, just searching on Youtube.
-Elgato Game Capture HD:
http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/main...tureHD.en.html
-Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition
http://www.hauppauge.com/site/produc...r2-gaming.html
-Roxio Game Capture HD PRO
http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/ga.../overview.html
-AverMedia Game Capture HD
http://www.avermedia.com/product/Pro...il.aspx?Id=556
An this is the newest one on the Market:
-AverMedia Live Gamer Portable
http://gamerzone.avermedia.com/produ...amer_portable/
So, i'd like to know what you guys think about these cards, and if any of you has one of these and wants to share their experience, or even wants to trow in more options, i'll really appreciate it, thanks.
I've used the Hauppauge 1212 HD PVR for 6 years. Best HD recorder!
i wouldn't get anything except a Hauppauge HDPVR,because there super easy to use and quality is really good,
the price is a little high but its worth it. i personally use a Hauppauge HDPVR 2 Gaming Edition![]()
Yeah, i checked your Youtube Videos, and they have pretty good image quality, but are you using it at it's max settings?Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
Cos i think i've seen some Youtube videos using the same device, with an even crispier image quality.
Never really checked...I just hit record, stop, then upload haha Altho I did feel like my quality has decreased slightly over the years? Maybe just my imagination....Originally Posted by BPRJCTX
Well, it's not like it really matters, i mean, it does still look good, but if you really you want to, i think there are definitely settings to be fiddled with, either on the device or the software, that should improve your image quality.Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
Easy choice
Hauppauge
Plug it in. Record. Upload.
It's that easy.
I would go with the first cheaper one simply because it has HDMI in and out. But yeah, the second one seems to allow more devices to connect at once on it.
I would go for HD PVR 2, definitely - have a look on ebay/ amazon, see if there are any up on auction on those two websites - I got mine off amazon in an auction for $99, a lot cheaper than either!Originally Posted by BPRJCTX![]()
Good luck on the show!
