I love Mario games, been playing them for years.
I got Super Mario Galaxy 2 for my birthday 2 years ago, and I never even touched it.

You really should play it, it's an awesome game.

Probably Super Mario 3D Land is my fave Mario game, platform wise that is. Otherwise its Mario Kart Wii/7 for me. Must admit I really enjoyed Galaxy, some real neat ideas in it. I've just picked up a WiiU so looking forward to the new Mario platformer and MK on that.

Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, the SNES version of Mario Kart and Mario 64 have a very special place in my heart. No other Mario games have been able to grab me in the same way since 64.

Mario 64 was the last mario platformer I enjoyed. And Mario Kart DS was awesome.

My favourite was Super Mario Sunshine on Gamecube, which is probably the worst reviewed Mario game out there but it really pushes the nostalgia button for me - the setting, music and level design were all just amazing

Also Mario Kart Double Dash was a riot on GC, had a lot of fun on that.
