For starters System Shock 2 and Bioshock are so damn similar, 'cept Bioshock was excessively simplified. Same game almost but with less content, a devolution. So these people want the same experience as me, but with less content. OK, so why not go back to Trials HD in that case! Its the same game but less content.Originally Posted by nannerdw
Second, I was messing around.
An example scenario: You are a smartphone fan. If the features of each consecutive smartphone released from this date forward had less functionality than the current models, you'd be perfectly happy? First the games go as they were a distraction, then internet access is filtered and so on.
What is worse is that these new, restrictive models are adored by many worldwide, and you just want to move forward, not backward, yet that is not going to happen because money.
Another: The year is 2020, Trials evo is but a faint memory, but you crave more. A game is released called Biker X: Evolution. This game has no editor, replay, leaderboards, multiplayer or tournaments, only better graphics and normal trials type tracks. Everybody screams GOTY, calls it revolutionary (as was with Bioshock) and you are left shaking your head. How can things move forward in this situation?
Nowhere have I claimed my opinions were fact even if I have a posting style that reflects that attitude. Example: I said blah blah clueless, obviously that was hyperbole. I didn't even specify the extent of the cluelessness, lol. "People love x game are clueless individuals to the ways of the world"? No.Originally Posted by LitTlExJeZuZ

You say I believe my opinions are fact, but you are wrong. With that sentence you have just stated your opinion as a fact yourself, by the way. I do that often, as do many people, everyday- Don't get confused in the future because of this FACT.
And I think the word you & emcee was looking for was "arrogance"![]()
Denton, just leave, man. There isnt a single person agreeing with you on any of this. Youre just barking your opinions at people and then trying to analyze how their responses are wrong.
I havent seen you do anything else in any other thread. You just make bold claims, and anyone who opposes you is wrong.
As far as Bioshock Infinite goes, I beat it 2 days ago... and I gotta say, dayum. The evolution of characters is consistent, and each time it answers a question you have, 2 more pop up in the wake. I had tons of questions all the way until the credits rolled, and even then, a second playthrough is called for just to answer my remaining chin scratchers.
And the best part is, I'm ok with it! The gameplay is very well balanced out. The vigors give you power, but not like you did in previous Bioshock's, because theyve all been tweaked to be aiding, but not more powerful than relying on your shooting to take down enemies. Going through the story again on 1999 mode is definitely fun and very challenging, and not because the enemy's accuracy is that of god, but because you are weaker and must rely more on your spontaneous actions than your planned ones, since most of those go to crap as soon as you try to execute them.
I personally give it a 9.5/10. The plot, characters, voice acting, gameplay, and polishing they put into this game, not to mention the environments you're in, are spectacular. I didn't get bored once playing it, each encounter felt like it was a little bit different everytime, and to me, this is hard to see nowadays!
I highly, HIGHLY recommend this to anybody who likes a generally great game. And I also recommend that, if you're an avid FPS player (As I am), that you run your first playthrough on Hard. Mainly because you're forced to react quicker and cant rely on your premeditation so much, so you're more spontaneous, reactive, and on edge when playing it.
Goooo Irrational Games!
Oh, ok. Guy with the different opinion should leave. In that case, i'll take that stance: get out.Originally Posted by bDIdol

Wasting my time is what I am doing.
Plently of times I have admitted I was wrong on this forum.. You have zero credibility, you don't know me, and you obviously don't read my posts.
Get out.
How about both of you chill out? There's really no need to resort to insults just because your opinions arent the same. Simply agree to disagree and if you cant do that then foe each other so you dont have to read each others posts. Also, Apdenton, please refrain from swearing on the forums. Thanks.
Has anyone played this on Xbox. I know the PC version is better, but I am wondering if the Xbox version runs fine.
I play on the XBOX and so far I'm really happy with it. No slowdowns or anything, everything runs fine. Don't want to say much about the game itself until I finished my first playthrough.Originally Posted by LukeMSki

Of course the PC version looks way better but the Xbox is a pretty old console, no surprise thereOriginally Posted by LitTlExJeZuZ
It seems as if the Xbox version has some kind of blurry softening filter on top of everything wich is a bit weird but doesn´t bother much.
