I'll be honest after buying HD and Evo + DLC on the Xbox I feel absolutley ripped off buying the PC version as I haven't been able to really play or enjoy it since release due to framerate and leaderboard issues. I didn't even bother to try MP yet but I'm not surprised to hear it doesnt' work

I'm trying to be patient but if these issues aren't resolved soon, I'll be perusing a refund on steam. It will be the first time I'm ever looking to refund a game purchase.

For me and many others, the "full" version has not been any different to the beta.
Optimization is really awful still, but hey, there's a FACEBOOK AND YOUTUBE APP!

It seemed to me the thing that messed up MP the most was tabbing out of the game at all. If I leave it alone during matchmaking it works about 90% of the time compared to like 30% if I'm trying to browse the web or something while it loads. So that's another thing you can try as a temporary measure.

The game doesn't seem to like tabbing at all.
At first I thought it's only one Skill game (Hillclimb) that is getting glitched after alt-tab, but after playing around a while I noticed other tracks getting messed up too.

So if what you're saying is true, you can't even tab out in the menu screens - which until now I believed was fine to do.
