Nah, but I loved your super ninja track with near-impossible jumps and "TETS" garbage everywhere! 5 stars dood!Originally Posted by mike8

be interesting to know who the 1 person is that voted NO for thiswhy would any1 not want this unless this is 1 of the people who would end up being 1 of the avoided people and knows it
make better tracks and you wont be avoided by better riders, make nooby tracks and you will only have nooby riders ride on it, its simple and its fare
this feature is an absolute must and i rly hope redlynx have listened and plan to use this idea
I'm one of the 2 people that voted no.
A blacklist feature seems useless to me. I don't like to see sh***y tracks either, but blacklisting gamertags isn't going to help when there are hundreds of people making these mediocre tracks.
Even if someone did manage to blacklist every amateur creator, it wouldn't change the fact these bad tracks are still getting rated higher than tracks that actually deserve it, you just can't see it.

ive always rated the crap with 1*..done it for months...Sometimes, when im bored, i will go through the highest rated for every difficulty for the month, and very rarely go through all the key words....
as for a blacklist, this is not fair to people that have bought this game also..doesnt mean i agree with the crap, but you cant go blacklisting people for making a bad track...Instead, why dont we highlight all us active builders, and those that have built the best tracks....
theres never going to be an option for this..its been asked for since day 2.

With the blacklist thing, if the tracks are consistently getting low ratings and the guy's on your blacklist, and all of a sudden he makes a track that gets 5* from everyone, then there could be a message saying "A USERNAME you've blacklisted has recently created a highly rated track - you should check it out!" - though this is probably DOA due to the numbnuts rating everything 5*!!!!
thats the flip side...Others rating wrong or badly...my advice is stick with who you know..im lucky to have a F.L. full of trials nuts that a consistent in building...
it would work imho and i stand by that, yes hundreds of crappy track makers but i would happily just keep voting until i have blacklisted a huge amount of them from my personal feeds (not every1s feeds just mine), it wouldnt make much difference at first as it would take time to start having any kind of effect but i believe it would eventually minimize the amount of crap from showing in your feed. so what if it takes a year to get a few hundred crap track makers blacklisted from your own personal highest rated feed it will be worth it, you cant get rid of all of them cos new builders will always make an appearance but you could certainly control your feeds to some extentOriginally Posted by xXTenderTacosXx
and tho you say it wouldn't change these bad tracks from getting high ratings you are right BUT they will only be getting high ratings from the noobs themselves who will not blacklist them and hence all these crappy tracks will only show up on the crappy riders highest rated feeds so every1 wins they get to have their crap tracks in their HR feeds that they love so much and we get to have our proper tracks showing in our feeds, so it wont stop them getting rated high like you say but it will stop them being in contest with the good tracks and effecting our feeds so much, i think its you who cant quite see it my friend
the only REAL downfall to this feature is that you would end up inevitably avoiding some great track makers that you avoided when they were amateurs and could end up missing out on some awesome tracks but if you keep active on the forum you should hopefully be made aware of any great builders that are not showing in your feeds and then simply unblock them
Man iv typed some long posts recently![]()
though it seems like it is unfair you have to remember that we are the minority and a few of us who only want great tracks blacklisting them from our feeds wont rly effect them i dont think, they will still have thousands of casual riders playing their tracks and it will be a bonus for us too because they will not be able to play our tracks and rate them badly, so we will get less dl's and rates but more realistic ratings insteadOriginally Posted by Morfyboy
i dont know maybe it is better without it but i personally would love to have this feature and think it would work very well
dont get me wrong, if it was available, i would surely use it..i just cant see redlynx doing such a thing...there should have been options from day 1 to allow us to custom search..this would have been enough for me...
