Meh. Nowhere near as good as your other maps.
I hate speed maps in general, but hills on this are some of the most annoying I have ever seen... Mostly hate it cause of RealTeeHill though... FFS U GOT LUCKY ON THAT LANDING
Edit... The top guy doesn't seem legit...
I liked it, personally, nice change from TbD 03 (which I thoroughly enjoyed)Originally Posted by mike8

And I agree re: the number 1 time. I can't find those 3 seconds, and the replay just shows him crashing at the start....
Yeah... I keep trying to beat your replay, but I just don't have the patience to deal with the BS double incline.Originally Posted by BrianUK
And on the way down you have so much more speed than I can get it's infuriating... Last jump/hill land part is also frustrating as imo it depends too much on luck
Aye, those 3-4 seconds I can't find either, I can get like -1 second on your time during the initial part but then I just fail on the other jumps...
You should put all your tracks in one thread, so that it's more clean. Also put some effort into one good track rather then making thousands. I'm sorry if you get offended, but the driving line is not well put together, and many obstacles are floating. Your background is pretty good though, but try to make the background out of more then just seed buildings. This is just my thoughts![]()
Lucky mate... Nah.
And is my replay broke? There's more time in there, I had a hang up somewhere.
To be fair, when I saw the floating obstacles in the earlier tracks, I thought I'd get the usual rubbish with no real thought, but I think that rather than being tracks that are aesthetically pleasing, these tracks are more geared towards being a challenge, which they very much succeed at. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but that's how I'm seeing it.Originally Posted by cristan10

Just did man, that time doesnt look suss but I only had 3 runs so couldn't say how much time was left to gain.Originally Posted by BrianUK
Thank you all for your comments.
I try to spend a lot of time on each track to make them unique and fun. The odd number tracks tend to be harder and more technical. The even numbered tracks I try to keep at medium difficulty. Medium tracks are really, really hard to make fun and interesting because I have to fine tune each obstacle for a lower skill level, but rewarding time wise for higher skill sets.
I also try hard to remove as much luck as I can from the tracks. The faster the bike is going the harder it is to remove luck. I am sad to hear about your frustration on the last jump/hill, I really worked at the height of the second incline for a back tire load up bounce to be just right. However, the last obstacle is the worst to have any luck element. I will keep working at it ^.^
Lastly, I deliberately have my obstacles floating to avoid any visual clutter. I know it does not look as good, but I want the obstacles to be the real focus of the track.
Let me know if you want me to keep this in one thread like cristan10 suggested. Each track is different, but they all are a part of a series… so I do not know if I should just do one thread or keep doing it individually. Keep in mind the results will be posted as well. Maybe a track thread and a results thread?
Well, you can't squeeze out extra 3 seconds that's for sure, beating your time was hard enough mateOriginally Posted by TheRealTeeHill
