Custom tire treads? | Forums

On the bike customization screen, each bike has 3 general categories, the last one being 'accessories'. None of my bikes (all are unlocked) show any tread category once accessories is entered. The tire treads are gold in the thumbnail indicating they are customizable. Is this just a leftover element from (what I'm assuming is a) beta feature (probably also present in the xbox version). Or are there some secret unlockable tire treads?

Same on xbox. Only the BMX from the first DLC has the option to change the color of the tires.

Figures, so the feature is there but it was only utilized via DLC, just want to make sure I wasn't missing out on something. For anyone curious the BMX bike was a vehicle added in the "Origin of Pain" DLC pack for the 360...

This can almost be misconstrued as a confirmation of DLC for the PC version! However it really doesn't prove anything. Either way I'm sure we will see the DLC soon enough considering all the extra content we've already got with the retail version.

Yeah I've really wanted this for a long time and sadly, even after the DLC on xbox, this only allowed customisation of the BMX tires, not the existing bikes.
