As far as I know, it is quite impossible to replace laptop chipset. But you can always add external gpu to your laptop. Though then you'd have to use external monitor also. If you don't have spare monitor (or TV), spare power supply and spare PCI-E GPU, I wouldn't recommend to do this since you can save that money to a better computer instead. Remember that there is always a change of breaking your laptop while doing this. And this whole thing may not even work with your laptop. And if your system has slow processor and small amount of RAM, adding external GPU won't maybe even help you.

But if you are interested about this, here are some links about adding external GPU to laptop:

    Live and learn I guess.

FWIW, I have the standard GTX 660 video card overclocked and get pure 60fps with max settings on 1080p (on a 96" theatre screen with nice 7.2 surround sound setup )
Because a person like me knows that he'll enjoy the gameplay since he has played the game on Xbox for so long, and wanted to buy the supposedly "superior version" (as it was advertised) so he can enjoy the game while listening to own music, 1080p graphics and friends who don't have a xbox but have a computer instead. And one could also assume that a system with a puny GTX 670 could run the game @ 120 fps without any drops given that the game's graphics aren't that amazing ( I don't mind it though). But it appears that the game is both FPS locked, and the game can't even keep the 60 fps all the time. In a game like trials, any stuttering can ruin a decent run and it just makes playing a pain in the ***. Servers are about dozen times slower than on the Xbox as well and make using the track central a real pain. And let's not forget the fact that 95% of my runs don't even record (despite being able to video them, not to mention that the recording is in useless format/it's stuck in 720p @ 30fps. Great.).

Here I'm wondering; where does the advertised superiority stem from?

It does look better.. And also has the option of playing THD tracks with the Evo engine.. (Which btw, feels exactly the same..)

In motion, Xbox version wins because there's no stuttering.
