So now I know my computer cannot run Trials because my computer's video card is garbage. So what do I do? Can I get my money back from Steam, or not?
I can just tell you from experience that usually game companies can't help you with this, you'll have to contact the site you bought it from.
steam will usually help you get a refund one time. but only once.
I'm not sure where you would stand in terms of a refund. Technically it is your responsibility to ensure your machine is capable of running a game/program that you buy. But I may be wrong, I'm not a PC gamer anymore.
Unless Steam for some reason decides to be generous with their policies, refund is a no-go. As Barry said, the consumer is responsible for making sure that the product runs on his hardware before purchaseOriginally Posted by Barrybarfly
Most people can't run this game properly. It just lags for most people. As of right you need like a $300 graphics card just to play it with no lag.
Steam don't usually do refunds, however if you explain the situation and keep bugging them it usually works - remember that usually the first two emails you get back from them are automatic!
Wrong, most people can't even run this on 300$ card. How ironic that xbox 360 costs like 150$ these days...Originally Posted by iStriide![]()

I moved this to PC support section since it was in XBLA support.
