Greetings,

Have you tried starting the game in safe-mode? You can do this from Uplay client, click down arrow next to Play and the option is, or should be there.

Tried Safe-Mode, still black screens

EDIT: Forcing the game into windowed and safe mode seems to have worked, having dual moniters might have been the cause, no stuttering in single-player, will test multi-player later.

Pleased you got it working...

Yep when running 2 monitors one of them will go black, there's a post about somewhere on how to run windowed full screen without the window.

I'm happy you got the game running, but I also use dual monitors, and I do not play in safe mode.

Totally off topic, what do you think of AMD's FX line?

The FX line really surprised me, awesome power for a great price, I built my PC mainly for recording and processing video of the games i play so the 8 Core FX was a no-brainer, got it for a good price bundled with a watercooling system. streaming in 1080p at 60 fps and my CPU usage has never hit 70% usage, RAM never goes over 60%, only limit now is my Graphic card, used to have 2 x HD 6970's but i gave one to my wife so she could play with some more eye-candy, next upgrade is a 2-3 TB internal drive and 2 x HD 7970 Ghz's

(already have 3 SSD's and a WD raptor for games )

Thanks for the link, I think i've found the actual source of the problem RTSS.exe, it's used in MSI afterburner, for me it's the on-screen app for my G19. I shut down afterburner and it now runs smoothly. how this helps anyone else having problems with it
