    Toggle Hidden/Visible "Terrain Shaping" Modification

    Hi,

to begin with for my first post here, I would like to say "hey thanks a lot, you guys at RedLynx" for this great game.
I'm a 32 years old dinosaur but I'm enjoying this game just like an happy kid. It's been a long time since I've had so much fun with a video game!

That being said, I've got a request about the Level Editor.
My question is about toggling visibility of a "Terrain Shaping" modification (if it is even possible).
I tried to add a "Visibility Event" to it, but it is not possible.

My goal is to make an explosive car -visible by default- and "switch" it by an hole in the ground, when the biker is near.
Any ideas how to achieve it?

(sorry for my english, not my birth language).

You could try to hide the hole under something else like a wooden platform and have that disappear to reveal the hole?

Well, my idea is to get a car to explode. So I could give a try and use the car to hide it, then switch it to invisible.
Maybe with the help of smoke and explosion effects I could get something nice enough.

@Jarr3tt88 : thanks for your fast answer! By the way, do you think there is a way to use a trick, such as moving the position of the "Terrain Modification" in a very quick way? Hidding it behind a hill, then make it move instantly to where I want it to be, for instance.

I dont believe you can move terrain mods and if you could it would almost certainly cause massive performance issues.

Unfortunately you're right, Barrybarfly, I did the test some minutes ago. :/

i'm not a pro in the editor but may it is possible to create the whole in "real time" with an Curved data source?
so, use the a terrain with an hole, set it on zero (so that there is no hole or jut barely one), and change the depth then with the CDS?

idk if you understand what i mean or if it's possible, i don't think so but maybe it is

    This is not possible.

Once you place a terrain mod, thats it. Nothing can change it.

ah ok, i'd wonder if this was possible because if so, someone would already used it
