as the title stated, my trials will not update past 1.0.0, it is bought through the U-play website a good month before the release. (still within the beta phase). and i dont have any of the pre-order content either.
here is the things ive tried:
enabling Trials and Uplay client through the firewall.
inserting the serial key from the email.
re-installing trials, not once but twice.
still nothing. when i insert the key it tells me its mistyped or already activated.
my operative system is windows 8 64bit

Can you try launching the game from the executable (not in Uplay) with administrative rights?
c:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Trials Evolution Gold Edition\datapack\Trials_Launcher.exe

i just tried. and it seems to be downloading a pretty big update.
so i guess that worked
hopefully this will enable the pre-order content too.

That's why I'm here.
I did this, as i had the same issues, however once it finished updating I'm on 1.0.2 however I di not get any of my preorder bonuses, which is pretty upsetting
I have played since day 1 of the beta. All my achievements also state this fact.
So I had to dig around and find a manual 1.02 patch, but I noticed I don't have Trials_Launcher.exe in my /datapack folder, just Trials_FMX.exe. Is that because I skipped 1.01?
For me me it was in one directory up.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Trials Evolution Gold Edition\Trials_Launcher.exe

Any idea why uplay doesn't auto download the updates? But of a hassle having to launch the game directly to get updates.
