For those two achievements, you have to complete every tournament marked as hard/extreme or tournaments that have hard/extreme tracks in them? Cause i did all the hard ones in THD and Life is Harsh didn't unlock.

Then Life is Harsh seems bugged, cause it didn't unlock. Can't say for Demon on Wheels I and II, i miss some extremes on both Evo and HD at the moment.

I completed all tracks in singleplayer, and it's the same for me, it isn't unlocked.

I just got "Life is Harsh" after completing the last hard skill game i was missing in the Evo pack. So as it is now, i guess it means all the hard tracks from both Evo and HD, including skill games. Well, at least that's when i got it.
It doesn't make sense, but it's good to know. Life is Harsh was supposed to be for hard tracks in trials HD. Having to complete hard tracks on Evo as well makes sense, but skill games as well ? No. It looks to me as an oversight on their end.
I can confirm that you have to play the hard skill games in both Evo and HD warehouse to unlock the achievement. No gold medal needed, just launch the skill game and "pass" it, you'll get the bronze medal and the achievement. Kind of weird, as there is no challenge at all to include skill games since launching it means succeeding.
