No reset/recalculation of leaderboard for release? | Forums

I hope for a recalculation, current LBs are totally worthless, why does someone who doesn't have all platinum medals is 7 million point ahead of me when I have all plats. This makes me want to not play.

I totally agree with you. Everyone around me in the leaderboards has less medals than I do. It makes no sense.

It should be, first of all, medals, then times (obviously) and finally I guess time played.

The most important thing is faults, then time. The problem with the leaderboards right now is that people are given more points than they really should have. The system works fine, there are just bugs that causes the wrong people to be at the top.

The system does work fine in theory, but it's the same difference since leaderboards (as of now) do not represent your true place.

They do count, and one thing is even better because skill games used to count toward your global ranking in HD, but not in Gold Edition.

lol i have ALL tracks zero faulted except inferno 2 (1 fault)

i have ALL tournaments zero faulted except world cup (2 faults) & ultimate endurance (3 faults)
and test your might obviously since scores dont register on that one.

im seeing people ranked higher than me in the global leaderboards that have way more fault on tourneys and less
tourneys zero faulted, some have over 5 million more points lol

leaderboards are a complete joke, maybe yall should just reset them, if yall cannot come up with a solution for single scores wich im assuming is alot harder to do.

not that i really care personally, i cant really play on a high level bcuz the tracks are to laggy.
but it sucks for those guys that are trying to compete out there.

Well I noticed last night that some people on the Uplay friends list are no longer shown on the friends leaderboard view... so unless I've missed something, something has changed.

We are far too into the game for a full reset rob,
We have been informed many times that it wont be a full reset.
and that they are "working" on a full recalculation with no date for it set yet

A full reset makes no sense when what has do be done is recalculating the global ranking scores based on SP results and getting rid of glitched times and their impact on mentioned score at the same time.
If you set a glitched time and it gets removed, your global score has to go down too as you lost that result, one should even lose medals gained from invalid times.
