I must say I'm amazed someone got past the pipes then had trouble on that wall. Those pipes are brutal and the hardest obstacle in the game by a huge margin in my opinion.

Also Shady, didn't you have a full beard in the Redlynx visit video? You can't be a proper professor without the full beard mate. Beard up, beard brother!

haha I didn't tell anyone my reasons but I actually grew that full beard just for my trip to Finland. It was my way of paying my respects on sacred ground.. also gave me an excuse to beard up.. I always have a beard but it's usually more trimmed like what you see so thats unlikely to change any time soon. It's actually been funny to think about consistency through the series, having the beard the same, the hair the same and the same outfit.. I delayed filming once because I had just had a hair cut and I wanted to keep the same hair style.

Thanks again for the kind words to anyone that left me a message (facebook, twitter, forums, reddit, XBL etc).

I also wanted to clarify that the extra credit classes are really about a single obstacle rather than a technique and so far have been based on a request I received. I'm just doing them to break up the format a little. The regular class structure will be back, i'm just waiting on a few things.

Yeah I totally agree about the pipes on this track and I am sure I'll be back there soon.. have a look at the fault count on that track during the class... I had like 12 faults on those pipes haha.

Oh and I went out and bought a new jacket (best $8 i've spent and it's a fake Ralph Lauren so it's also cool as hell. I'm planning on wearing that from class 4 onwards as class 3 is already filmed. I will also have that for E3, along with Professor FatShady business cards and shirts I had printed The jacket I've been wearing was WAY too tight. I mean I think I covered it well in the series so far, but some nights I lose feeling in my arms. When I take it off after filming, I almost have to dislocate my arms. I laugh every time I do it.. It was a mates jacket from a fancy dress party that he left at my place years ago and is at least 4 sizes too small.. maybe more.

In one of those crazy coincidences that happen from time to time, the very day that I watched that video of your trip to Finland, I ran into you in MP that night (this is probably 5 or 6 months ago).

I was riding like a total muppet because I was rummaging around trying to find my damn headset to say hi. Found them on completion of our second round, then plugged in the second you DC'd. Missed an opportunity to meet the legend. Oh well, maybe one day.

Sent you an FR mate. And that was not an excuse for my appalling performance. The true reasons are these:

1. I was only new to the game (somehow missed HD sadly, one of the few regrets of my life in retrospect).
2. I was really, really, properly drunk.

Might well be a different story if we were to go beard to beard nowadays. Will you be joining us in ZeroFault's competition? Or have you abandoned us poor Xboxers?

Speaking of beards, apologies to Crow and everyone else who was offended by that film clip as it probably doesn't translate well to an international audience. In my defense, I'd only heard the song on the radio and thought the lyrics were bloody hilarious; I'd never watched the whole film clip until just now.
