I bet that front wheel jump is a ninja move that ANBA wants to invent.

Oh, I've found something interesting in the video that you have highlighted big PS4 signs three times! I guess you want that bloody console so much!

haha I'll take one if someone is offering but that was not the idea. I guess that the PS guys just spent a little more on advertising... someone on YT also pointed that out. Im still undecided what console I will get or even if I get one day one. I have PS3 and Xbox 360 and most new games are coming out on them or PC... might wait for Fusion before upgrading?

Great vid again Shady! Had a bit of deja vu watching it for some reason. Can't think why, bloody Matrix must be playing up again.

I think we need to sort out this "Ramp Front Wheel Jump... Twist Thingy" as calling it that will create total chaos.

I propose the following naming conventions be applied for the two main applications of this technique:

    1. The Switch Jump

Used to reduce height off a jump and get you down to the ground quicker. Front wheel goes over the lip of the ramp with the rider leaning forward. Brake may be applied as well once the front wheel has cleared the lip to catch the back wheel and spin the bike down to the ground. Examples of this variation can be found everywhere in top replays, but the big jump in the middle of Sunset Stripped is the best example I can think of might add some video later on to show this clearer).

    2. The Spring Jump

Used to both reduce hang time and greatly increase distance off a ramp. The suspension of the bike is compressed at the bottom of the ramp, then releases as the front wheel clears the lip of the ramp (to reduce height) to give a good boost to distance. A good example of this is the jump over the ridiculous gap in top replays on Titan's Graveyard. The example you showed from Elevation is also one of these (kinda).

Those names have been around for years

Although no one seems to really use them...

Yeah that technique that I showed was the spring jump but that would have been no where near as funny to show I could have found a better example of it but I wanted one at the start of a map so people could practice it also. Once they get the principles understood, theoretically any replay they saw they would understand better..

Give this guy one interview and all of a sudden he's directing the series

Hey Euan, yeah, I think I remember them from Euphoric Fusion's tips and techniques thread. Although I couldn't find it when I had a quick look just now, could have sworn it was stickied.

Obviously I didn't make them up myself, or I would have called them something much cooler, like the Defojump versions 1 & 2. Also rather like flip jump, or flump for short.

Also, are you L2G iLoGiiKz x? If so, I always loved your ending on WOTN, how you landed on the finish then somehow made the rider's arm go in the air across the line in a victory fist bump. Properly cool.
