As sipe said, we may need to reset the leader boards, and as I understand it, that's what is going to happen.
I don't mean to be rude, but that sounds like the lazy way to fix the problem..

Individual track times are not the problem, The problem is the calculation of global score. So why do a full reset.

There are so many of us who have put well over two days of playtime into the game, thats like 50-70 hours of pure gameplay. Grinding away at multiple tracks.

Its like "Skip plan A lets go straight to plan B".
Plan A being a recalculation, which you aren't going to even try doing?

well it was beta...im all for an easy fix if it works afterwards even if i and other might be affected by it. there are imo much more major problems that need attention.

Uhhmmm. I get invalid code, please check again. I have proof that I pre ordered the game btw.
Same here. Although that doesn't bother me as much as the fact that the patch did nothing for me as far as graphics/performance goes.

You don't know how it's setup behind the scenes though. They might have gone in with the intention to recalculate but there's some technical aspects they can't get around. Plus you were playing in a BETA! You should never go in to a beta expecting your scores to stay, you're there to help test, not to set the best times.

Obviously I would prefer the recalculation but if it's not possible there's only two options; Leave the leaderbaords alone which I presume nobody wants, or completely reset them.

There has been much discussion among the devs about the leaderboards issues we are facing and how to fix them. The investigation is ongoing but there are a few things I can clear up.
[list:1xq7bpcp][*:1xq7bpcp]There is no plan to clear the entire leaderboards, only scores that are clearly impossible or corrupted will be fully removed from the LBs[/*:m:1xq7bpcp]
[*:1xq7bpcp]We will be doing recalculations of the full leaderboards[/*:m:1xq7bpcp]
[*:1xq7bpcp]We are working hard to find a long term solution[/*:m:1xq7bpcp][/list:u:1xq7bpcp]

What about the beta keys not working? I want a new key is this one doesn't work. That was part of the deal.

I'm assuming by "beta keys" you are talking about pre-order items? We are looking into this issue but if you are having a problem with keys I would advise you contact the support team of whatever outlet you used to buy the game. The keys are generated by different people depending on where you baught the game. We do not directly create keys at RedLynx so we can investigate why keys are not working but providing new keys or overriding a broken key will probably require assistance from whoever you purchased the game from. Until we learn more about the issue this is the best I can do.

    Please read this topic.. http://forum.redlynx.com/forum/viewt...p?f=87&t=14481

At least in my case the performance problems depends directly on the background of the track.. in some tracks with millions of effects I can keep 60 fps no problem.. but when the background is really deep or have some structures in the background.. my game lags really bad and I get like 10 or less fps for a few seconds.. specially when I'm in the air and I can see the whole background

With more simple backgrounds the game I'm sure it will run smooth all the time..

PS: I have almost no problems with Trials HD stages

This is good news, Thanks for clearing it up
We were all confused, shifty was ensuring us there would be a full wipe. Perhaps he meant a full recalculation? - He said full reset and we thought that for real.

    *To Clarify*
I can spend time on a track today and know the score wont be wiped?

No, I meant wipe. Good to know that I was mistaken. *whew*
