I bought the game through uPlay. I remember trying to activate the game during the beta, getting the error yet being able to play the game. I've not gone back to this menu and I have access to the preorder content in the garage.
Also, any news on stuck achievments? I did complete all the hard tracks in both crash county and hd warehouse and it's still stuck.
Is it normal, that i don't have the game in my uplay library? When i log in to uplay from their website, it says I have no games, but I do because I most certenaily bought Trials from them. Also, I still can't access any online content, like in the beta.
I have this issue because I purchased through Steam, if you've done the same you must launch through steam first.Originally Posted by Myrrdhinn

But, I want to ask something from the devs.
Is it possible, that the cause of the connection issues related to user account?
The game always warning me, about I need to connect to the internet for the multiplayer content. I wasn't even able to redeem uplay items, like the top hat. I was connected to the internet, and I've tried everything. 3 different networks, 3 different computers, turning off firewall, opening ports, everything. Now..
Here's the thing. I purchased a second copy of the game from steam. I linked that copy to my existing uplay accountwish i hadn't done that -,-), while I still can't access the multiplayer section of the game, now I can redeem uplay items, and my game showes up in the online uplay account (the website).
I wonder, might be a connection to the two tings. Is it possible, that this cause this kind of issue?
Also, is there a way to unlink a game from my uplay account?
glad to hear that the leaderboards aren't getting reset![]()
You might need to see if you have blocked Ubisoft in your hosts file.Originally Posted by Myrrdhinn
Goto:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Right-click and select Open, then select Notepad.
See if you have anything in there that says Ubisoft. If so, you might want to remove it.
