Seriously, why is Redlynx being so cheap with the Wrenches?
The way i see it, wrenches should be awarded, to everyone who consistently releases good quality stuff on Track Central.
But it seems like they are treating the Wrenches, they same way they treat the True Fan Awards (TF tags).

The community has been nominating ppl for Wrenches, pretty much since they first started, and as far as i know, not much has changed.
Meanwhille, what i think is gonna happen' at some point is, some of these track creators will get frustrated, because they work their asses off, to create amazing things for the community, and feel like they don't get the recognition they deserve for their work.
And some of those might just get tired of it, and move on... Away from this game...
Redlynx should stop being so clingy with the Wrenches.
Like i said, everyone that continually creates amazing stuff, should get a wrench right away.
But that's me, i don't know, what do you guys think?

Once things settle down with the PC version of the game, I bet things start rolling again with these wrenches. I agree, there are probably 15 people that I know of that dont have one but deserve it.

I semi agree....Wrenches are prestigious of course, and maybe handing out more in bulk wouldn't hurt like giving out alot of TFs. Those are SPECIAL rewards. Even tho the wrenches are as well, alot of builders deserve them....and theres really no reward currently for being an exceptional builder. Speed runners got their leader boards.

the way i see it only people that keep making tracks that would qualify for redlynx picks should get them

I voted no....they should be handed out carefully to people who consistently build quality stuff in my opinion. There are definitely another 10-20 at least who should have one......and im sure they will get one eventually.
If they become flippant about them they will end up meaningless like the TF did.

I would love to hand out 30 more wrenches, the issue (don't tell anyone I said this!) is that we are looking for builders who have an 80% awesome track rating.
I know that sounds stupid, but we want wrenches, currently, to mean that for every 10 tracks a user makes, 8 of them are as good/better than the in-game tracks. This sounds like a great idea to make sure that wrench people have really high quality stuff, but for builders who were NOT around in HD, it makes it pretty close to impossible to get. So we're working on revising the requirements, but right now we've been pretty focused on the release of Trials Evolution Gold Edition. The requirement right now is REALLY high, and it means that 99.99999% of builders will never get it.
What would you guys suggest for requirements?
