Now I want one...
Back when I worked shipping & receiving we had 5 machines that wrapped pallets of product.
We called them humans.
But that requires a highly precise and technical maneuver called "walking in circles holding a roll of plastic."Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai

You don't know pain until you get stretched plastic wrap inside of a cardboard cut.Originally Posted by Killipo

I work in a grocery/retail store, and deal with the freight all the time. So I've gotten my share of splinters and cuts, but thankfully nothing has gotten stuck in said cuts yet.
Although I once had a hole in my wrist that wasn't healing for weeks. Then one day I realized what was going on, and pulled a shard of glass out of the wound. That fixed it.![]()
At my old work we just put the load down and then tucked the wrap in between some boxes. The Load would rotate and the wrap would cut itself. Very efficient.
Also cardboard box factory is an excellnt summer job.
