    Setting Minimum Video Memory?

    Hello.

I'm currently trying to play Trials:GE on my ultrabook. My machine has 8GB RAM, an i7 1.9GHz CPU, and Intel's HD 4000 Integrated Graphics.

Whenever I try to play the game, I get terrible video performance which the guys at RedLynx say is caused by a lack of video RAM.

The thing is, the HD4000 dynamically assigns VRAM from the system's regular RAM depending on how much is required by any given application. Evidently, Trials isn't 'asking' the computer for enough VRAM and so it's only using like 64-200MB or so.

I was wondering if there was a way to go into the config. files of the game or something and change the minimum video memory setting for the game? This apparently works when it comes to getting GTA 4 to run on integrated graphics devices.

My ultrabook runs games like X-COM and even Crysis on modest settings, so it should DEFINITELY be able to handle Trials if only it would properly utilize integrated graphics hardware.

    Thanks for your time!

    Re: Setting Minimum Video Memory?

I just posted a thread with a detailed walk-through for Intel integrated graphic cards that worked for me and will hopefully get Trials running on your system.
