Game will NOT start | Forums

I cannot play the game. Version owned: Steam.

1) Load game from Steam. Uplay starts up.
2) Load game within Uplay. Game starts up. Gets past Ubisoft and Red Lynx logo screen.
3) Screen goes black and crashes. I receive a windows error that the application stopped.

Steps taken to resolve:
- reinstall Uplay
- redownload and reinstall game on Steam

I have several other Uplay games that work through Steam (Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Far Cry 3).

Try running trialsFMX.exe as administrator in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TrialsPC\datapack

Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet because I'm having the same issue and if it keeps happening i may just ask for a refund.
