    Possible play in LAN

It would be great to play on LAN becaus some people dont have ports open and they cant open it. So players can play over hamachi with friends.

What, now I'm curious. Why are you not able to have ports open and/or to open them?

Well, I have this issue in not being the owner of the router.

But if the game lets you play with people down the hall through online play then just to that

    Re: Possible play in LAN

I have actually had games before which just wouldn't connect, even if all necessary ports were forwarded. Luckily for me at least, Trials doesn't seem to be one of them.

It is a piracy risk, but not a big one I think, as hopefully pirated versions still wouldn't be able to connect to the custom levels or ghosts of friends. It'd just be playing multiplayer levels - which people could do on a pirated version for local anyway.

That said, I doubt there's enough of a call for Redlynx to add in a LAN option to actually do it. I think most users are happy to use the online features as is.
