lo there does anyone know the correct snap distance for variant 6 rope ive got loads of lining up to do and its making my old eyes go blurred . ive tried 0.05 which i use most of the time but its not working .. cant figure it out ..thanks if you can stop me going blind![]()
9.25---You get this by using a Distance operator and 2 Dummy objects. Just place each dummy on each end of the rope then select each dummy with the operator. The operator will then display the number you want. I would save it to my favorites. Good luck.![]()
thank you my friendOriginally Posted by DeadEXit![]()
The snap plane doesnt go up to 9.25. So divide by 5 and you get 1.85.![]()
Whoops!Originally Posted by BarrybarflyForgot about that bit. Also if your gonna use physics joints to connect the ropes, be sure your connecting the ends and not the center of the ropes. The ropes have multiple pivots to target.

Snapping...Bane of my existence.![]()
baz has some distances worth jotting them down .. the rope was doin my head in . it kept glitching/disappearing as i was snapping . and the big red circle finishing on the edge of the rope wasn't helping . done it now and saved to faves . i dont mind snapping manually but some stuff needs to be precise .this is when the rage starts .Originally Posted by D2Dahaka
