Here is a game that we should play to try and find the most obscure music possible. Not only is t supposed to be a game, but a way to find new music.
So this is how it is going to work:
We start with a band name
Then if someone has heard of them before they were mentioned in this thread, they say so
Then they post a new band name
The game will end when someone comes up with a band that no one else has heard.
Here is an example:
1. Eminem
2. I know him; Rihanna
3. I know her; AC/DC
4. I know them; The Beatles
5. No one knows them.
6. Game ends
I'll start:
Chiddy Bang
I know him; FehrplayOriginally Posted by LukeMSki

I won't post in here until it gets to two pages, i promise.![]()
Oh and the title of the thread misses a letter. Just pointing that out.
Some fairly obscure bands I know:
oOoOO
Belbury Poly
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci
Oneohtrix Point Never
Shpongle
Oh and has anyone heard of Tame Impala? Fairly obscure, but they're newest album has made them more popular.
Since this thread has already lost it's way:
Ratpack @ Fantazia One Step Beyond Castle Donington 1992 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4WjNCWv-9E
Eskobar/Lemon D - WHAT BASS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwTZyuwtP88
Ray Keith- I Bring You The Future: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7iq4W6oNzo
These are not particularly obscure as far as I'm concerned, but I do love me some obscure music.Originally Posted by InfernoTrials
Its a shame about Broadcast's lead singer.
Is anyone actually aware how incredible Robert Wyatt is? You may (or may not) know him as the drummer of Soft Machine (before he was paralysed from the waist down), but I still believe his album 'Rock Bottom' is probably the most incredible example of audible expression I have ever experienced.
Edit: Yeah sorry to de-rail the initial idea of the thread, but we all saw the title and went on our way from there..
I'll try to get this game thing on again![]()
