Here is a game that we should play to try and find the most obscure music possible. Not only is t supposed to be a game, but a way to find new music.

So this is how it is going to work:
We start with a band name
Then if someone has heard of them before they were mentioned in this thread, they say so
Then they post a new band name
The game will end when someone comes up with a band that no one else has heard.

Here is an example:

1. Eminem
2. I know him; Rihanna
3. I know her; AC/DC
4. I know them; The Beatles
5. No one knows them.
6. Game ends

These are not particularly obscure as far as I'm concerned, but I do love me some obscure music.

Its a shame about Broadcast's lead singer .


Is anyone actually aware how incredible Robert Wyatt is? You may (or may not) know him as the drummer of Soft Machine (before he was paralysed from the waist down), but I still believe his album 'Rock Bottom' is probably the most incredible example of audible expression I have ever experienced.

Edit: Yeah sorry to de-rail the initial idea of the thread, but we all saw the title and went on our way from there..

tame impala has a song on rocksmith 2014 and that game sold roughly a million copies so not that obscure anymore
