For me it seems to have improved slightly, still not what I would call smooth unfortunately. Any type of atmospheric- or particle effect still makes it stutter. The 'limbo' track performs noticeably better for me than it used to.Originally Posted by proutprout75
It also seems to have improved the weird forced resolution thing though I can't say for sure. It's difficult to tell to be honest.
At which point the game should start updating?
Once I start Uplay or the game?
As posted above, it was mostly fixes for the editor.Originally Posted by proutprout75
Still got major slowdowns during the dam level for example, when the water splashes from the explosions.
When you run the Trials launcher, before login it should update automatically.Originally Posted by Teurastaja
Ok, it started downloading update right when I started the launcher. Thing is I usually start Uplay and from there Trials and there was no update.Originally Posted by soad667
Now I went to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Trials Evolution Gold Edition" and started the Trials_launcher.exe
So, if someone has trouble updating, try what I did.
I also started the game always via Uplay and not by using the launcher, so it didn't get patched.
Both starting methods should reliably patch the game, maybe something for the developers to look at?
Also even though it says Trials_launcher.exe, it still opens just Uplay (and a patcher before that) without actually starting the game.
I cant update the game...![]()
Anyone can help me??![]()
i keep getting an error 1342 the path Trials Evolution Gold contains invalid characters. can not install update or unistall game
I'd say it's maybe 10-20% faster. Some stuttering feels gone because of that. Some still there. I don't know if it will be purring at launch but makes sense for them to keep tuning it up. People buy PC games long after launch afterall.Originally Posted by proutprout75
