There should be a moderator on track central, just like the forums. Epic disaster.

Yea TC needs alot of changes. Changes I was hoping to be in Gold edition.....but they aren't. Maybe sometime soon.

The game counts the average rating but not the number of ratings, so for example 15 five strars will count more than 150 four stars. Which is fine in itself, the problem is the people using the rating system.

Right. I'm aware of that. I usually say, wtf is wrong with people.
They should have some kind of weighted system, where 10 4's, is better than 2 5's....and so on. A friend recommendation feed would be great. So your buddy plays a great track, he adds it to his feed, you get a prompt or just check the friend feed section...slightly different from just your friend's tracks.
My best last track was to me the worst...as I was finishing it up I thought, "Fck it, let me just upload this gimmicky crap and get my 5k views." instead I received @20k views.
Tracks that I view as strong, get a painful 10k views. Too many generic type tracks out there. Ones I run an think, man, haven't I seen this 100x. Gimmicky isn't great, but some kind of something happening in the track I find to be essential to hold my interest or great design.

Hellsray is an incredible track, definitely deserves to be in the top rated of trials all time section

Truth is, you can't really predict what will do well and what won't.
(except for some type of tracks that seem to do well most of the time)
When you expect it to do well, it flops and when you're like 'This isn't my best' it ends up doing great.

But I agree though, that Garage track shouldn't be first with the amount of ratings it has.
I see it all the time, track with fewer ratings up high because I'm guessing some of those ratings were 5* ?

I can also see the point in releasing CP type of tracks, to practice but as a person who doesn't play Ninja tracks - for me it just kind of kills the feeds.

That track is good tho, a fun and challenging driving line despite its difficulty, I agree that Hellray should be higher in the feed, but Garage isn't crap.

That is purely opinion though....even if we all think hanfrays track should be top. Anyway, you need to take into account the jealous people who rate it it down because they cant do better, the guys who downrate tracks to get their own higher in the feed..etc etc.

Its the same here too, the redlynx picks thread for example, there have been one or two tracks lately that look like they were built by a 10 year old yet numerous people (mainly friends of the creators but still) who nominate that crap for a spot in the feeds.

Whichever way you view it, the game done changed, we either have to deal with it or ignore it because im not confident redlynx will be able to fix it, especially since half of what annoys some of us is opinion based.

You could have waited for the track to have been out for even a day before you posted that picture. Its in the number one spot now so don't worry..

Seriously though its the same story every single day on these forums. Its obviously a shame that the most deserving stuff isn't always at the top but just get over it. All the best tracks are still in the feeds somewhere so you're never going to miss them if you spend all of 12 seconds looking through it. The game's supposed to be fun, its not a big political thing. Just find stuff you enjoy, play it and then be happy you enjoyed it. The dumbest thing is that all anyone on this forum ever does is preach to the choir. We obviously all know what makes a good track. Your problem here is that there's an absolute sh*tload of people who didn't rate HanfRay's track 5*s (which truly does beg the question, what in the actual name of CHRIST do they think consitutes a deserving 5*s then), but none of them are going to be on these forums are they? Everyone seriously needs to get over this stuff and move on. RL supposedly pay attention to what people are saying here, despite next to never replying to people anymore, so you can comfortably assume that at some point soon there's going to be an option for subscription feeds, and then hopefully everyone can stop complaining and just try and have fun with the game.
