    I always end up making the track longer. Just select the yellow icon on the driving line at the end of your track, press y and then extend it as far as you like. The benefit of doing this is that it doesnt affect the line before it....so if you have rails for example...the tiniest movement will throw the entire track offf.

    What is the keybaord equivalent of using 'y' to copy?

    In the editor tips it says shift, but for me shift only selects additional objects. The only way i have been able to make copies of something, is by holding ctrl and draging in x,y,z direction.

    The problem with that method is it is slow when making multiple copies. With "y" you can just click it and drop a copy as many times as you need to. With the ctrl drag method, you have to select an item select the axis, hold ctrl and drag every single time. When decorating this is extremely bothersome.
