    Insufficient Beta keys?

Has anybody that purchased Trials after 07.03.2013 (my purchase date at least) received CD-keys? I have not, which means no beta access since Uplay requires this? right?. Which brings me to my next question, is the beta full? thats what im thinking, so now I basically preorder without any reason, as the beta was the only real incentive for me. Enough whining about that, but its not easy to get a straight answer anywhere.

Any information regarding this is deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Edit: if a mod could move this topic to the support forum (without issuing warnings or ban ) I'd appreciate it, since this is most likely wrong categeory.

No key needed for beta I believe, well I have 1 but haven't had any use for it yet. Just install Uplay, login and tadaaaa?

    Re: Insufficient Beta keys?

    Where did you buy it?

IIRC you only get to test the beta when you buy directly from Steam or Uplay.
Hence why I cancelled my pre-order from Amazon and got it from Uplay (along with more ingame bonuses in total).

    Re: Insufficient Beta keys?

I purchased it through steam, I launch it via steam, and then Uplayu launches and uplay asks me for a CD key with a trials evolution background.

It was not added to steam, purchased through the front page of the steam store.

"Please enter your CD-Key or activation code here, entering your CD key or activation code here will bind this game to your uplay account forever. Please make sure you are signed in to the correct account"

    Re: Insufficient Beta keys?

Out of curiosity, when did you purchase it on steam? this is why I think they are out of keys, because it has worked seemingly flawless
(untill now) and yet I cannot understand in any way how I am supposed to launc this.

There is NO unique key or code in my email (junk counted) and there sure as hell is NONE on steam, and I have right clicked, checked the DLC section, updated and everything in the middle. The irony of it all is I guess by the time I get a straight answer on this I will have my refund from steam. I really have no patience for this crap, so when they say BETA for everyone that prepurchases, this is enough for me to revoke my purchase (though I'll get it at release probably ). Hopefully this is all user error, and I can give myself a big fat juicy face palm later tonight.

    Re: Insufficient Beta keys?

I didn't buy from Steam, mine is from Uplay where a game key was listed at the end of the buying process and in an E-Mail I got.
The game itself was automatically activated, so I didn't need do that manually.

Just wondering, you mentioned you right-clicked (and checked the properties of the game entry I assume) and there was no key shown.
This seems kinda odd to me, wasn't that the way to show a registered key? Do you have other games in Steam where a key is shown?

Last resort would probably contacting Steam support and having them resend the key to you.

    Re: Insufficient Beta keys?

I got a key on the 2nd or 3rd, I think Steam may be out, because of popular demand for the game, and Ubisoft needs to send them more keys in order for people that preordered there get Beta access.

I have a xxx amount of games on steam, I know where the options for finding a CD key are. But your suggestion is appreciated nonetheless.

This is a complete **** up on steams part somehow. Just gonna buy it from uplay and get the refund from steam

You can get it from Green Man Gaming too and get to beta. It's even 20% cheaper there.
