Hi Track MakersFirst of all I think I should introduce myself as this is my first post in this forum... XBL Nametag: PappaPump76. I've been playing Trials since I got Trials HD a couple of years ago. I consider myself an average rider. I have passed all the Xtreme Tracks but far from 0 faulting them especially the harder ones and think I'm around 25000 in the global ranking so hardly nothing to brag about
I'm from Sweden btw. Anyway the game has, as you all know a pretty steep learning curve and you can tell that you are getting better the more you play, but lately I have felt that my improvement has stalled, I'm not getting any better somehow and it's the step from simply passing a track and get Gold to speedrunning/platinum/0 fault it that seem to be so hard and why I have trouble improving my crappy times. There are techniques required that I simply haven't masterd yet and I think alot of Trials riders can feel the same way? I really appreciate Euphoric Fusion's Tips & Techniques Topic in this forum and also his Extreme Training Tracks in Track Central! but I Request more custom Training Tracks so you can put his tips in practice, and with a specific Advanced Technique per Track. for example a Bunny Hop Track, an uphill landning track etc... And preferably with increasing difficulty, so checkpoint One has an easy obstacle and the last is Ninja Level 5
Like with Euphoric Fusion's Training Tracks it would be great if you could switch between checkpoints/difficulty with LB/RB also. Anyway this is just a request but I think alot of people would appreciate it if somebody would do any Training Tracks including myself ofcource
I want to close with a tip on a Track that isn't a Training Track per se but is a good track to improve Bunny hopping from ramps on the Phoenix/Banshee as this technique is basicly requered to complete the Track, atleast I got alot better from playing it over and over

Any other tips on Tracks that is good for practicing techniques is also welcome

hey!
idk a good track to practice but IM A IN II A IK makes good tracks for practice, or just try to 0fault extreme tracks like "Dark City Run", a lot of technics are required to 0fault it![]()
My advice would be to either over and over play many different customs and tracks in single playertrying to learn the track and see how the bike reacts on each different bit or go in to the editor and build obstacles yourself and see how the bike reacts at different angles etc. Once you know how the bike and physics work youre gonna get better times.
I cant personally build what you want but this is the way i got better at the game
dark city run is very hard to 0 fault, i think i have only just done this and it was my 2nd to last track from the 1 st set of extremes that iv finished with 0 faults, (way of the ninja was the last), i am ranked around 300th but havent checked in a while, im not sure that i agree this a good track to start going for 0 faults although if you do manage to do this then you WILL find other tracks easier. Personally i think the best track to help you improve and i have thought this for a while now is actually a track from Trials HD and its called Technique, this track is where i suddenly realized that i understood the physics of the game properly, there are lots of different techniques to learn and when speed running there are more also particularly where you have to make the main timesaver near the end.Originally Posted by LynxNinjaTrials
Way of the ninja is also a good track to help you improve, i wouldnt say to start trying to 0 fault it just yet but just play this a lot as it is so long with so many different techniques required for different checkpoints that it forces you to learn new techniques. Just try to keep bringing your faults down by 1 or 2 untill you have it down to under 10 or even 5 and this will he3lp you improve lots, if you can speedrun this track also then you pretty much know how to handle the bike to its soeedrunning limits.
other then that id say to just keep playing tracks for longer, dont just get a good time and move onto another track, when i get a good time i always think nah i can do better and try again and again and sometimes improving my time up to 10 times before moving onto another track.
people have different opinions and styles but i hope at least this has helped you a little, good luck buddy and welcome to the forum![]()
Thanx for the tips guysYeah Technique as one of my favourite tracks in Trials HD. I have 0 faulted it but I don't think I've got the platinum on it yet. I've passed Dark City Run and Way of the ninja but I'm far from platinum on them. I'm way too inconsistent in my technique. I still think it would be a good idea to have tracks with focus on a specific technique like I said before but until someone makes them (or I learn the editor myself) I guess Going back to old tracks and trying to improving times will do for now
Feel free to give more tips on custom tracks that are good for specific techniques. Thanks -PappaPump76
nope, dark city run is hard to 0 fault.Originally Posted by LynxNinjaTrials
The easiest extreme is Fishy Business to 0 fault.
Also, there is even a more easier extreme track called "Fish Business II" by DJ 2witchy. Try it out!
