    Bogus replay

I dropped a diamond on a replay for Day 640 (Tlacazin), and the replay that came up, for "HIGE99," claimed a time of 22.001.

Now, that would be great, considering that the gold medal time is 23.400 (and who decided that the silver medal time should be 24.000, huh? Come ON), but the HIGE99 replay is woefully incomplete. In fact, at the claimed time of 22.001, the player is still bouncing off the bottom of the first wheel! How did this get approved as a replay?

I would like the diamond back, along with an explanation of how this could have happened. The point of a replay is to see how the leaders are doing so well, and clearly this player was not doing well at all. I was actually well past the first wheel at 22.001.

I have no doubt that RedLynx would not have green-lighted this output from the level generator unless the gold medal time could be beaten, but I would like to see it legitimately done so I could at least get some ideas from it, and since I've already spent my one diamond, I don't expect to spend any more.

    Re: Bogus replay

It's doable, of course. I have 22.369 with plenty of time to take off still.

Regarding relpays, it depends on your device. If you have an iphone 5, you can watch replays that were made on an iphone 5. If you buy a replay set by any other device however, it will be "broken" as a result of some type of physics variation regarding the iphone 5. The same goes with any non-iphone5 device; they will see a broken replay if they buy a replay that was set using an iphone5. It sucks, and it probably won't get fixed seeing as how nothing has been updated in months.

    Gah.

I'm driving a 4 with 6.1.2. Guess it's YouTube for me. And no more replays over the phone.

Well with an iphone 4, all replays should work, except those made with an iphone 5. So if you get replays from ipads,ipods,iphone3/4s etc, those should be fine... i *THINK*

I play on an iPhone 5 99% of the time. I made a topic on this board about the discrepancies between different iOS devices. iPhone 5 replays only work on an iPhone 5 unfortunately. And I think all (except maybe iPad 4?) replays on non-iPhone 5 won't work on an iPhone 5. Most players use non-iPhone 5 devices, so you probably won't run into too many broken replays. Sucks that it's hit or miss, though. Avoid my replays in the future!

Good advice. The thing is that the replay is broken in such a way that makes it look like you're attempting something really weird--but it's going very badly for you. I didn't mean to suggest that you'd done anything bad, by the way.
