Hello again my peeps! So im confused with area triggers and OPE activations. It has worked
for me always until yesterday. Physics bubble there and the object has physics checked. The area trigger has trigger by instances on the object hitting it. So whats up? Is it a bug or am i the bug? Lol- i got so frustrated and wound up deleting the map and started all over but got the exact same thing. Has anyone figured a better method around this? Thanks again for any help.
OPE needs constant impulse to work correctly. Use an interval trigger set to 1 tick.
Whats up Jarret!?Thats definately is not the problem. Its the object not triggering the Area trigger while being moved by OPE that is the issue. But thanks for quick reply.

Physical bubble is there? does the object have "contact response" checked under advance physics?Originally Posted by DeadEXit
Yep! Its really frustrating cause ive done this so many times!Originally Posted by Jarr3tt88
Try opening up the area trigger and selecting the advanced options, there should be one called "on active", click on it and send the impulse to whatever you are triggering.
If that doesn't work, in my signature is a link to a list of visual flowchart tutorials, one of which is called "simulating trigger activation with objects moved by OPE" and maybe that will help as a workaround.
If the object has physics on, on contact response, physics bubble there and triggered by that object....I have no idea why its not working lol I share in you're frustrations as I have a game I had working perfect started to be broken, triggers not working, moving not on center to correct space.Originally Posted by DeadEXit
Hope you can figure it out.
