Performance Issue: Problem with optimisation
I decided to gather up some test and configs that people have tried to do to fix the terrible fps problem, which may be caused by the optimisation:
Summary of what is actually happening:
1 to 2 FPS (Dependant on particle amount in the game) Also + 30 second loading times per track on SSD
Steps to Reproduce:
Open up game -> Single Player -> D-Class First map -> Loads for 30+ plus and the FPS becomes uplayable.
Frequency:
Every time when playing the game. The game is unplayable
System Specs:
JIMM'S PC Zeus V1
Intel I7 2600k, 3,4gHz
2x nVidia GTX580 1.5 gHz - SLI
16GB ddr3
128 Agility 3 SSD + 2 TB WD 7200rpm HDD
Wingows 7 64 bit
Dual Screen 1080p Display
Installed trough steam, played trough uPlay
How tested sofar:
SLI on / off = No change
Windowed / Full Screen = No Change
Tuning down graphics = Only 1 to 2 more fps not even that
Turned off other screen from nVidia center = No Change
Downgraded drivers 7 times = No Change
Updated all the software on the pc = No Change
Latest drivers = No Change
Fixing the spelling error in config file = No Change
DxDiag:

Notable discoveries:
I personally think it is something how the game querries it's resources. I did a test which was driving from checkpoint A to checkpoint B and just before the checkpoint B I backed and started all over from checkpoint A, The first run from Checkpoint A to B was choppy as it ever could be, my DxTory was going between 1 to 4 fps. On the second run, where I bailed and started all over again, the game ran in 60 FPS smooth. So this gave me an idea that it might be in someway how the game loads it's particles and stuffs. but on the second time when it already have querryd it's resources, it runs smooth.
Also it seems like the trials is also having a problem saving games, retrieving data and saving data issues perhaps?

Re: Performance Issue: Problem with optimisation
Question to Devs and Moderators:
Is there a way for me to provide more information about the matter? Like stack traces or anything sort to help you out. Since it seems to be a common problem with high end pc's atm. I would gladly provide any support I could muster.
