There are rumors that the next gen trials would be under development. So, I think we should start to suggest stuff now what to include etc. Some of those suggestions also counts for Evo updates.
Lets gather suggestions:
General:
Next gen trials to be a retail game, so that RedLynx can make better graphics and can have much more filesize for the game
Better graphics (absolutely)
Metal music like those on THDreally don't like these strange rock music on Evo except "Higher")
Save replays on an USB
No tire glitching and no paper thin head.
A trials profile showing your global rank, tracks, gametag etc.
Side note: PLEASE NO MORE BASKETBALLS!
Multiplayer:
Split screen mode on local trials multiplayer including skill games
Online skillgame multiplayer feature
Track central:
Subscribe button and feed
Search tracks by name
More rating options, that will combine together with the rated options, like:
Trials: Driving line, detail, theme, fun, medal times etc.[/list:2b4sgltj]
Skill game: Playability, fun, descriptions, medal times, theme etc.[/list:2b4sgltj]
Moderators on Track central that these regularly put good tracks into a recommended feed
Track playlist (for playing tracks in a row just like a tournament)
Ability to delete our tracks
Custom feeds
Leaderboards:
Leaderboards filtered by bike
search gametag on leaderboards option (just like on the redlynxtrials.com search)
Able to race against rider ghost instead a dot, also choosable in the options if you want a HD meter or Evo dot or NextGenTrials ghost.
Editor and features:
D-pad use for shortcuts like going directly to editor settings etc
mini game - game type
terrain editor (not like an object)
fully customizeable counters with horizontal, vertical, any color and
Any name label (where you can type your own things)
Set translucency of objects.
Bilingual language descriptions, labels and instructions, that you can give for every language you can (or use in Google translate)
text boxes plus also giving data sources a tag, like you type a VDS "Player.Health" and then you can just script "Target: Player.Health" with the SVE instead doing by cursor
More tools/objects/effects/sound sources naturally
Some kind of script log, list of active impulses etc.
Search actors. Example- search OPE and a list of placed ope's are displayed. Select a specific one and the camera focuses on it.
Texture scaling & Panning.
Object scaling
More breakable & colour-able objects.
Able to change all the controller inputs.
Accessible VPL scripting window. Multiselect code in an impulse chain then a window is displayed with all the properties editable from there. Group the panels for this window to be displayed next time you select the group.
Faster editor/3D view camera panning
Most importantly... increased file size
Improved collision detection
More properties for effects
More pre-animated textures.
If no scale-able objects, then more smaller objects.
More properties for sound sources
All events have delayed impulse option coded in their properties.
FPS display
Insert text. Pass it through Microsoft's word filter if you must.
Shadow True/False
Luminosity scaler
"No contact response" to do as it says it does- send impulses
Commenting/tags you can assign to any actor in the properties to remind yourself of things.
Set the Lifetime of an object, especially needed for the emitter.
Priority particles, a checkbox like "fast object" for effects that has them activate before in view of the camera.
The ability to build tracks live with other players like a coop editor, similar to Halo's Forge mode.![]()
The ability to "cut" objects, besically like cutting a pressure burst hole out of a pipe or cracks in a single big prime, perhaps saving complexity and makes for some cool things like a custom hole in the wall etc.
The ability to draw a path where an object moves and have the OPEs and any other associated code automatically handled for you. The ability to edit these paths like a driving line would be VERY helpful as well. Would be very useful for mundane tasks like closing/opening doors, moving objects such as cars, minecarts, rollercoasters etc.
B button trigger available to use in skill/mini games
a completly black canvas to start with world size choosable.
group objects and be able to colour and add textures or different finishes to them at once
the old snap editor to default to the item being used
Advanced contact response options. Example would be like the Bike can not pass through a certain wall, but the rider can (Groupable or choosable hit detections or something).
Ability to set the thickness of liquid substances, the difference between Crude oil or Water is quite significant.
be able to bend certain objects to curve over stuff.
save environment settings to your favorites so you can use them again in other tracks or you can switch between two different ones in one track to see which looks better
have multiple levels within your mini game. This would mean that you could partition off part of your level and when the player reaches a certain point, a loading screen is initiated and the rest of the level is loaded
music editor like the MAGIX music maker, where you arrange and pitch, bass, wave etc the sounds (spoiler)
Be able to select object instances with area selector. Like set it select only barrels or specific effects
adjustable trigger sensitivity for precise lining up
two players in editor at once (local)
When an object is selected, while holding down a button, d-pad moves object one world increment at a time.
Spoiler: Show
No tire glitching and It'll be good to go.
In my opinion, of course.

Gonna jump back into the editor now. Some more ideas may come up.
RedLynx...thanks for the best editor on consoles.
The ability to build tracks live with other players like a coop editor, similar to Halo's Forge mode, this makes collaboration 100x better and easier.
The ability to "cut" objects, besically like cutting a pressure burst hole out of a pipe or cracks in a single big prime, perhaps saving complexity and makes for some cool things like a custom hole in the wall etc.
I'll try and think of some more.
Yes I Think this too!Originally Posted by LitTlExJeZuZ

+1 to co-op/forge like editing and all of apdenton's suggestions especially much more file size and complexity.
I add suggestions later when I have time.
@apdenton1: You have a really long post! Nice to have many suggestions!
Would be even better if TC has a forge where you can access tracks on a team domain with password and team name required, that you just can continue build tracks (you must be online for this) live and you even can see the other editor moving the objects and linking the logic cards etc.Originally Posted by Acritarch
