Am I able to change the directX level?

Wanted to try that because I'm having some frame drops here and there. I'm assuming it's something like -dxlevel 8/9/10 in the launch options (if it's possible) but could I please have a confirmation for that if someone really knows if it does work?

    DirectX® 8 & 9 aren't supported, DirectX® 10 is minimum requirement to run the game.

Funny quote then from the support thread ^^

Try running the game using DirectX 9 instead of 11.

Not sure where did the quote original came from but it's incorrect. DX10 is the minimum supported version, DX9 is ancient hardware and we are utilizing some of the DX10 features which is not supported by the DX9 hardware.

From this forum and the "Video performance"-Thread, thats why its funny

(you deleted the specific line frome the "What to try first (Steps from Ubisoft Support):"-Quote now)

GameScrub and iStriide reacted to the line which was first there. Good that you deleted it ^^

It was from Ubisoft Support, as DX9 isn't supported, I have removed that "tip".
