I booted up Trials Gold and encountered bizarre textures all over the ground and flickering in game. Any fix available?
Computer stats:
HP Pavillion m6 Notebook PC
8.00 GB RAM
Windows 7 x64
Intel 4000 Integrated Graphics
Ahh brother that makes two of us!! i have made a forum account for the same problem you have been experiencing. i have textures such as brick and distant mountain regions show up sometimes all over the ground in front of me and on my bike and player as well in square formations. textures from other tracks even seem to be popping up in places they should not be. i have tried redownloading also.
alienware m14x R2
8.00 GB RAM
windows 7 64bit
3rd generation intel core i7-3630QM @ 2.40 ghz
intel 4000 integrated graphics (nvidia geforce GT 650m with optimus by itself)
^this may be the reason we are experiencing issues? or its just coincidental. but it is certainly not a weak graphics card by any means. nor is it the best. if it wasn't soldered to the motherboard i would upgrade to something stronger, gtx 680 or 690 if it would fit lol
Hopefully they can get this fixed before launch...
indeed. there are a few youtube vids showing it and i could link one to make the problem easier to understand for devs i suppose. tho if they have the work ethic that i would hope they do they've already seen this and started on a fix
bumbing for tips from a manager or someone with expertise on this issue =)
This seems to be an issue with the Intel HD 4000 card. Everyone I've seen with this issue has this chipset. I don't know if there is anything RedLynx can do, either.
(Edit): This fix is only for Nvidia cards. If anyone can find a fix for AMD or any other graphics cards please make it known, sorry I couldn't be of anymore help.
I also had this issue.
After some tinkering I think I found a fix.
1. Right Click and select Nvidia Control Panel
2. Select manage 3D settings
3. Click the 'Add' button
4. Find the Trialsfmx.exe file in your steam folder, (mine was found in: Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/TrialsPC/Datapack)
5. Once you found the .exe go to 'select the preferred graphics processor for this program:' and choose 'High-performance NVIDIA processor'
If any of you had the DirectX11 error when trying to play Crysis 3 beta will probably already know this fix.
I hope it sorts out any issues.

My computer does not have an Nvidia card. It's just Intel HD 4000!
I'm using a windows 8 with Intell (R) graphics and media control panel. Should I be using something different, or is there a different solution? anything that can help me at all?Originally Posted by PullinPower![]()
