    Multiplayer connection issues.

Private MP: Can not connect to eachother in what way or another.

When I or my friends start a party and invite eachother, we all get the same messages that the NAT might be of an issue.
Well it is not, but we all tried to host one but all failed.

    Steps to Reproduce:

-Invite other players to a private match.
-and that is where the connection fails.

    Frequency: 15/15

    Re: Multiplayer connection issues.

Tried opening ports, tried chaning my NAT settings. Even contacted Ubisoft directly, they told me to delete a file called "hosts" which is in

    C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

And in ther is a file called hosts, delete it.
    Not hosts.msn but just "hosts"

It did not work for me, but since ubisoft told me to, you guys should try aswell.

    Re: Multiplayer connection issues.

I noticed someone fixing the problem by disabling the ''allow uplay to use a proxy connection to access the internet'' in the uplay settings, haven't tested it yet

I am at a loss to understand why Ubisoft support asked you to delete the hosts file? Makes me wonder if anyone in the support department actually knows what they are doing.

To restore the file see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034 for a how to...

If you're having NAT problems then you need to check the configuration of your router, as that is where NAT is performed.
