Private MP: Can not connect to eachother in what way or another.
When I or my friends start a party and invite eachother, we all get the same messages that the NAT might be of an issue.
Well it is not, but we all tried to host one but all failed.
Steps to Reproduce:
-Invite other players to a private match.
-and that is where the connection fails.
Frequency: 15/15
Anyone having this issue? Or am I the only one?
Same issue here, i thought that maybe opening ports might resolve it, but i wouldnt know which ports to open
Tried opening ports, tried chaning my NAT settings. Even contacted Ubisoft directly, they told me to delete a file called "hosts" which is in
C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc
And in ther is a file called hosts, delete it.
Not hosts.msn but just "hosts"
It did not work for me, but since ubisoft told me to, you guys should try aswell.
I noticed someone fixing the problem by disabling the ''allow uplay to use a proxy connection to access the internet'' in the uplay settings, haven't tested it yet
That idd not fix it for me but thanks anyways
Greetings,
I am at a loss to understand why Ubisoft support asked you to delete the hosts file? Makes me wonder if anyone in the support department actually knows what they are doing.Originally Posted by NovaVeteran

If you're having NAT problems then you need to check the configuration of your router, as that is where NAT is performed.
