i think this is getting realy serious...a beta game should only need to correct some details but this aint working good is more an alpha...
please solve the framerate problem and SLI users so we dont go disabling cards
Thanks
Sergio
Yea I'm not too happy that the stuttering isn't listed as a known issue. Apart from the above I also tried turning on triple buffering. Which didn't help and disabling Precision X which didn't help either. Clearly the game ****s itself when it loses even a single frame from 60.
imagine i bough this for my kid birthday and i have a 3770K at 5GHz with 2 GTX680 at 1306 core SSD's etc and went to run the game and get like 11fps and sttuter world i almost fainted...now i see that is full of errors
[quote="nannerdw"]I'm experiencing constant frame skipping on all of the tracks. It's not as bad on the indoor THD tracks, though. Particle effects seem to cause it the most. Dammed is like a slide show with all that water splashing everywhere, and the spinning blade at the end of Way of the Ninja causes a lot of slow down. I can turn down the graphics settings, lower the framerate, windowed mode, resolution at 640x480, tweak my graphics card properties, it makes no difference.

Screen is constantly tearing, although that couldn't be physically possible 'cause it seems the game engine is capped to 60fps (according to fraps)

well, it happens during gameplay, not in the menus tho

How tested so far:
playing the game. Vsync ends tearing, but stutters and lowers frames
I saw the update this morning on Steam and thought that at last the multi-GPU bug which causes the game to run at sub-10 fps unless I actually disable it and run it on one card only had been fixed at last. Sadly, not and the game still runs and looks as poorly as before.
So my issues are:
1. Sub-10 fps framerate with SLI enabled, even if I force Single GPU mode. I have to disable SLI entirely to play the game, which is really not acceptable in 2013. I have 259 other games installed, many of which don't use SLI either but they all work fine without me having to disable SLI!
2. The graphics look awful, like they're being rendered at 1280x720 and upscaled to the resolution I'm using: 1920x1200 with maxed out settings. There are jaggies all over the place.
3. Why on earth does this game load up at what looks like 800x600 then switch to 1920x1200 at the title screen? I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't mess up window size and placement as well as icon positions on the desktop! Very annoying.
I really hope all these issues are fixed by the time the game launches in just over a week's time. The multi-GPU issue really should have been fixed by now IMO. I've had this beta for over a week now and it isn't very encouraging that this issue has not been addressed in what appears to be the first patch.
We are working with card manufacturers to ensure that a Trials Evolution: Gold Edition profile is included in their next driver updates.Originally Posted by Daz1967
This is also being worked on. For now, please change the resolution to something below 1280 x 720 and then increase it to your desired resolution. Sorry for the inconvenience.Originally Posted by Daz1967
It's been reported, but I have no information regarding this issue.Originally Posted by Daz1967![]()
But are you going to address the tearing issue ? On amd radeon hd 6700 this is unplayable at this stage - once one frame is dropped massive tearing occurs.
What shoud we do ? Buy a new card which maybe will not work and cost more than a whole xbox 360?
You listed the required hardware - now I expect as a buyer that this will work as advertised.
Yes, we aware that some players are experiencing screen tearing in the Trials Evolution Gold Edition Beta.
Hello,
I have recently purchased the Trials PC version and I am experiencing bad frame rates. It is not my PC because I can play games such as Far Cry 3 at ultra with up to 40 FPS.
I was wondering if this was due to the fact that the game is not fully released, and that this issue would be fixed in later versions of the game.
I have also noticed many glitches when I change my control schemes. During the tutorials it tells me to press Insert to lean left and Delete to brake. However this is not the case because It is set up to be a simple WSAD configuration.
It also seems that the in-game uplaoder is extremely buggy and glitched.
Example:
Please sort these issues out before full release.
