    Some tips:
    - Update your graphics drivers. Please download the newest drivers directly from the AMD or Nvidia website. Do not download graphics drivers from your computer manufacturer's site (Dell/HP/ASUS/Acer/etc) because those drivers tend to be pretty old.
    - If you are having texture gliches on AMD cards, download the newest drivers. Old drivers have confirmed texturing problems. Intel has also announced new drivers for HD 4000 GPUs (should be out next month). Hopefully those drivers will fix the texturing issues on Intel integrated chips.
    - If you are running the game in windowed mode, it's critical to have Aero enabled. If you have Aero desktop theme disabled, the game will lag heavily (in windowed mode).
    - Check the "Wait for vertical refresh" setting in your graphics control panel (left click on Windows desktop background and select AMD Radeon Catalyst Control Center or Nvidia Control Panel). This setting should be either "application controlled" or "on". If this setting is "off", you might experience lag when playing the game in full screen mode.
    - Additionally, if you have any texturing problems (gliches/popping), please set the texture quality, anisotropic filtering and anti-aliasing settings to default (application controlled) in the graphics control panel.
    - Enable "VSync" option in the game video settings screen.
    - Disable "Advanced Effect" in the game video settings screen. This option has performance issues in the current build. "Advanced Effect" option will be fixed in the patch.
    This is good news,

    What about the leaderboards?
They really need a recalculation. Murdoc should be 1st hes 16th. & many many more examples.

Also what about test your'e might still not connecting to servers?

Is that the only performance fix the patch will include? If so, that's not nearly enough. The game itself has severe performance issues, with or without that option enabled.

-RedLynx recommended for AMD users AMD Catalyst 13.1 WHQL or AMD Catalyst 13.3 BETA 3 ?
-To play in full screen mode must also be enabled aero?

Is there STILL no fix for crossfire stuttering...? I want to get a refund if there's not, I can't play without crossfire because I have radeon HD 6990. How can a game like this stutter on my comp when I can run crysis without problem :/

Even on a 6990 I believe you should be able to disable Crossfire in your Catalyst Control Center and use only one GPU as with other 2 GPUs on one PCB graphics cards.
    Quick search got me this:
    http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?...post1038876678

The other method mentioned in the HardOCP thread is using the tool RadeonPro, which seems to be able to force single GPU-usage on a profile-basis.
Unfortunately I can't really speak from experience, since I only mess around with Nvinspector and my Nvidia card.

Besides that and mGPUs inherent problems with using the AFR-method and high dependance on game profiles to make it work, there has been some newer testing done by larger hardware review-sites that showed that Crossfire produces uneven frame distribution and rather unusable (in form of runts and dropped) frames causing stutter and low perceived framerate.
Mind you this was measured directly at the monitor output via capture card and even the latest 7-series in Crossfire was effected by that.

So even if AMD supports Trials with a Crossfire-profile (which isn't really that much on the developer's shoulders, but yeah they should work together with Nvidia and AMD to get SLI and Crossfire working somewhat properly), it might not have the impact you'd hope for.

    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

Leaderboard integrity is Garbo on this game.. There's plenty of people in the top 100 that don't belong there..

Let alone almost every tracks has 5 glitched scores that aren't even possible, WAYYYY too many to type up for one person.

I still get some lag, I play on my brothers pc tho

He's got a high end pc too so.. I realize there's a lot of lag on maps with.. Well pretty much any map with a lot of complexity...

    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

I also got performance problems. I check it with fraps, no matter if I'm on 1280x720 or 1600x900 resolution, framerate is almost same. Half of time I get 60fps, another half of time I get 56-59 BUT game is stuttering horribly anyway. Or rather, it seems like it starts frameskipping when it goes below 60fps. At endings like explosions and stuff I get 40FPS, that's horrible as well, but it's just after I finish the race so it's not that big problem. I tried running it windowed at 1280x720 as well, no difference. VSync is set to off in game settings (with turned on it seem to stutter even more) and in nvidia control panel I got VSync set as controlled by application, and I set my driver to always use my main GPU. Everything on low/off ingame. Specs :
    CPU: Intel Core i7 - 3610QM 2,3ghz
    GPU: Geforce 630M 2GB GDDR3
    4GB RAM 1600mhz DDR3

    Any update on a patch?
You said perhaps within the week which didn't happen,
So I hope it is very soon..

Trying to keep myself playing gold, But it's hard to keep enthusiasm.
I have the most playtime out of anyone and do hope everything gets fixed asap, because this game has so much potential on the PC.

    Frequency:
    Always

    Problem:
    Bad/choppy framerates

    Attempts to fix:
Changed NVIDIA settings to make sure proper video card is used when the game is being played, and adjusted almost all settings to low or minimum. Please keep in mind I can run Borderlands 2 on MAX, 1600 x 900.

    Specs:
    Windows 7, 64 Bit
    Intel Core i7-2670QM @ 2.20GHz
    8GB DDR3
    NVIDIA Geforce GT 555M
    Harddrive @ 7200 RPM
