    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

Absolutely terrible performance. How is it possible that my xbox runs this game perfectly, yet my desktop that runs Crysis 3 at maximum graphics smooth, runs this barely 40 fps @ 1080p, everything set to low/off and stutters like crazy?
    Specs: I5 3570k @ 4.2GHz, Radeon HD6990 @ 900/1400, Z77 Pro3.
Keep in mind that on Dual Gpu cards, one cannot turn crossfire off. Sigh... I'd so much love to play this but it's been made impossible. I'll stick to the xbox version meanwhile...
PLEASE fix this in release I'd rather play the game than look for a refund
Also, I've heard that the game is capped at 60 fps. Some of us have 120HZ screens, and would very much like to have use for them so I'd ask for all of us, that the cap would be raised to 120.

    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

I do not mind that it is capped at 60fps, but i do mind that a £700 pc will only get 40fps with massive frame drops when a out of date £100 Xbox 360 can run it no problem.
Come on RedLynx, sort it out.

    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

Well, my game is playable if I turn off antialising (or 2x) in my nvidia control panel.
If I don't do it, the game often slow down when a lot of action occurs, in complex levels and when there are many explosions. In other words, the game is really poorly optimised, your programmers are everything but code "masters". I know I should be able to run a game like this without problem.

    System specs:
    Intel Q6600 (Core 2 Quad 2.4 @ 3.01ghz)
    Nvidia GTX 550 Ti (gigabyte)
    2 x 1 Gb (G.Skill)
    Windows 7 32 bits

    resolution: 1280 x 1024

Thanks for the insane game but please, put some of your best programmers on this project to help optimize it!!
We need more players in the multiplayer section, it's often too long to find a players and often almost impossible to find a challenger for a hardcore game!

I have just got an update on my Trials.
Does this fix any of the issues talked about in this thread?

I'm sorry but that the update didn't make any difference to the video performance. If anything I think that its made it worse.

    Please sort this out :'(

    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

I´m having pretty bad framerate problems in terms of the game is nearly unplayable. Menus work just fine but when playing (no matter which track) the game slows down extremely.

I know my PC isn´t the fastest but I thought it would at least run smoothly on lowest settings...

    Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance

So the game is now officially out and still runs appallingly on my system at 5 fps with severe stuttering and hitching after THREE WEEKS in beta!?!?!?

I cannot express how utterly dismayed I am at yet another PC game launch with a major issue after the nightmare I've had with Tomb Raider. That didn't have a beta though and its issues were fixed after a week and a half. Disabling SLI for ONE game is just not acceptable in 2013 and this issue really should have been fixed in time for launch IMO.

Do we have any guarantee that NVIDIA are even going to fix this in a driver as from past experience they don't tend to support smaller releases like this. If SLI doesn't work then they normally add a profile to force Single GPU Mode but, of course, that doesn't work anyway. SLI has to be disabled manually and you cannot do that via a driver profile update.

I will wait a few days and if no fix for this issue is forthcoming then I'll be asking Valve for my money back.
