Summary:

When beginning a game, I get to the bike selection screen, it tries to load the bikes (a green swirl load pattern appears), then the game closes and returns to desktop/Uplay

Frequency / Steps to Reproduce:

Every time, at bike selection screen

System Specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
System Manufacturer: Asus
System Model: N56VM
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM @ 2.3GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory: 8GB RAM

PS. Game loads ok when set to Intel 4000 HD Integrated Graphics, but gameplay is very sluggish and textures slow to load, also resolution is restricted (i.e. unable to use above resolution).

Seems that I have resolved my issue by rolling the driver back to 314.22 as specified on the steam discussion page

SO HOW ABOUT THAT UPDATE!?

I haven't played this game in quite some time, load it up today and can't even select a bike without it crashing to desktop. Completely unplayable meanwhile all my other games work %100 perfectly. Money down the drain and a lesson learned, it is what it is. Stay classy RL.

Patch 1.4 Has Major performance issues with my PC ran fine on 1.3 happens on all maps totally unplayable now as in around 5-10 fps max

Specs are i7-2500k @ stock speeds
6gb Ram
7970 3gb AMD card @ stock speeds
Running latest beta driver will revert back to earlier release when i get a chance and update if there's any changes

Problem Is cause by latest beta driver from amd changing to previous driver fixes problem
amd_catalyst_13.8_beta. is the latest stable version, version 2 of it is not stable with this game

Catalyst is up to 13.9 release and 13.10 beta since september.

Beta ones seem to work okay for me on windows 8 and a HD5870.

Of course decided to get on this game today just to improve some runs, but I can't do that because now this game randomly decides to freeze when I'm in the middle of a run. So when it does that I have to wait about 2-5 seconds for it to unfreeze, and when it does that I go from 0-100 and get ********ted. Well i'm done with this game for another couple of months.

Everytime I'm trying to choose the bike I want for the track my game crashes.
It started after I updated to the latest patch of the game.
I have the lastest nVidia drivers.
