Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
Performance is the same or worse, now with added shadow flickering. Yay.

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
It looks like I was a little premature as the game has NOT been officially released yet here in the UK as I thought as Steam still shows 9 hours left to unlock (it's currently 8:37am). So I guess there's a very slim chance that another patch will fix the issues I'm having when it 'unlocks' later on today (around 5pm). However, if the developer claims a new driver is needed to fix the SLI problem then I very much doubt it'll run any better than it does now (i.e. appallingly) as NVIDIA have not mentioned anything about releasing a new driver or profile for this game.

If you guys having CTDs could include the crash dump from:
c:\Users\[username]\Documents\Ubisoft\Trials Evolution Gold Edition\CrashReport
It might help us pinpoint the issue.

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
I'm getting really bad FPS on the outdoor tracks with particle effects..
I'm running 4ghz amd phenom Black. 8gb Ram and amd sapphire hd7970 3gb GHZ edition..
i shouldn't be getting any stutters or anything when i can play games such as battlefield 3 and tomb raider on full ultra without dropping frames under 60.
this has to be a game bug

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
I'm having massive FPS problems, like many other users. I have a Core i7-3770k with 16GB RAM and a GTX 690. Yes, I've already disabled SLI for this game, same problem. Tried running at 1920x1080, 1920x1200 and 2560x1440 - the problem occurs on all resolutions.
This is a bummer, $20 wasted

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
Ok, just a quick feedback: for some weird reason, installing the latest Nvidia BETA drivers, 314.21, and THEN disabling SLI seems to have fixed the stuttering issues for me.
I wish luck to other people with problems

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
I haven't read through the previous pages, but personally I get occasional stuttering when running Crossfire.
The stuttering mostly happens when things are exploding, or there's more physics going on... and at times upon hard landings.
I disable Crossfire and everything is fine.
Notable PC specs:
Core i5 3570K @ 3.8GHz
Gigabyte GA-Z77-UD5H
Corsair Dominator Platinum @ 1600MHz
Gigabyte HD7950 3gb Crossfire
Game is running off a WD Black drive, if that's helpful also.
Video drivers = Catalyst 13.3 beta.

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
I'm not using SLI but I had some performance issues and the latest NVIDIA 314.21 drivers seems to help A LOT.
Check this out !

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
To update my previous report, video performance has slightly increased with the latest patch in the smallest resolution but not by much.

Re: [Bug Reports] Video Performance
This game is a bit of a mess for me which is unbelievable really when it has had a three week beta.
The game doesn't like SLI at all - it runs at a slideshow 5-10 fps and is completely unplayable - and forcing Single GPU Mode doesn't work either. If I disable SLI, which I really should not have to do for a 2013 game release, then the game runs better but stutters. As I do not want to be constantly enabling/disabling SLI for a single game (this is the only one that exhibits this behaviour out of the 262 I have currently installed), I tried running it in windowed mode at a lower resolution (1680x1050 instead of 1920x1200). Performance is better but still depressingly erratic - sometimes the game runs OK, most of the time it stutters and jerks at 10 fps - but now I have no audio while playing even though I can hear the vrrrrooom of the bike after selecting it on the menu screen.
This game needs another patch or five I suspect to fix these issues. I've tried contacting NVIDIA about when we're going to get drivers to fix the SLI issues but they're either not interested in fixing issues for a non-major release or don't consider it their problem. I suspected as much so unless the developers fix it then I fear we SLI owners are going to have to put up with a broken game unless you consider enabling/disabling SLI for this game to be an acceptable fix. I don't.
*sigh*
I'm just so sick and fed up of buggy PC releases at the moment.
