How do I actually use a Motor type physics joint? It's the only one missing from the youtube tutorial. I've been trying to figure out if it can propel objects or not. But like I said, I really have no clue.
It isn't in the video because this has been added after the Origin of Pain update and the tutorial was made before.
Angular joint and motor joint is actually the same, just by angular you can use up to 3 axis compared to motor and motor's angular motor is already enabled.
btw. If you need help with the joint, you can use this: How to make a spinning object with physics

if angular motor and motor joint are the same thing, then what was the point of adding motor joint?
Good question. Probably to make it more user friendly by automatically enabling the motor, but I don't think it was really needed.Originally Posted by Jolanphone
Probably for ease of use.
Same reason why vector tools were added even though you could perform the same calculations manually.
vector tools however can reduce coding dramaticlyOriginally Posted by P4INKiller
