I keep gettin the error1335- the cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for installation is corrupted and can not be used.
Is this issue on my end, or do i have to redownload the game?
Edit- at the My Games screen on Uplay, under the thumbnail of Gold Edition, it says install failed. Try again/Verify files? I attempted to verify files and the progress bar moves until it says 11 of 202 and just stays there. Im guessin something got corrupted when i was downloading it?

rly, bumping a thread when theres only 16 threads in the support forum, were 10 is from dev and cant get bumped over?

Try uninstalling it from Uplay (should take you to the Control Panel's Add/Remove Program list) and reinstalling it. I also had this issue and it seems to have been caused by a bad download.

Problem is still persisting, despite cleaning registry (via google solutions for this specific type of error). Quick screenshot-
Attempting to verify files always result in the progress bar stopping at 11 of 202 files then failing verification.
I have also uninstalled Uplay, reinstall and fresh download Gold Edition with the same results. My network is runs fine, and i am not installing it from a CD-ROM, so the only thing it could be is a problem with the package (bad batch of Gold Edition perhaps?).
Edit- Is there any way i could try to download Gold Edition through Steam even though i had pre-ordered from Uplay? Would that work or???
there are some anti virus programs (AVG) that automatically block some downloads, rather thats applying here or not, i dont know, worth a shot though.

Ive recently run a diagnostics test and turns out i have internal memory failure. Really weird because everything runs fine and i knew it couldnt have been my hard drive.
Just ordered a new one online so when it gets here, pray tell everything goes well. Will update with the results.
