I had some serious frame rate issues when i went into the first track. The only thing i set to off was AA and it did wonders for me. Everything was quite smooth after that and played quite a lot, evo and hd, also multi, a couple of tracks in TC too.
Whoever has such issues, try disabling AA and Vsync. Hope it works out for you.
and for AMD card ? 7970 ? how to disable AA in game ?
disabling vsync just turn the game wih a big tearing in middle of the screen
I was expecting to have a huge tearing or something, but i didn't notice anything, so i kept it off.
For AA and your card, i don't know. I just did it with the ingame options, you can see the difference but it's really minor, at least to my eyes. I have a 5670 btw.
Disabling AA and VSync doesn't do it for me.
I run a single HD7970, most (especially wide open) maps stutter, gives me a headache.
If you have an SLI machine, the option will look like this;
NOTE:
[list:15z1y8gm]You will not see these options if you don't have two graphics cards or a "dual" graphics card.[/list:u:15z1y8gm]
[list:15z1y8gm]Make sure you have up to date Nvidia Drivers.[/list:u:15z1y8gm]
[list:15z1y8gm]SLI is not available on AMD graphics cards, they use Crossfire. You disable this in the graphics options similarly to this.[/list:u:15z1y8gm]
[list:15z1y8gm]The PhysX settings do not matter because the game does not use PhysX.[/list:u:15z1y8gm]
[list:15z1y8gm]This page will look slightly different if you only have 1 monitor.[/list:u:15z1y8gm]
Yeah I have only a 6870 and quad core CPU. It definitely hitches badly over certain areas/ special effects but other times runs normal. We'll see what they do in the way of patches. Hope it's the same dedication they have had to the console version. I've put my money down on them already because I believe RedLynx will care that this is a good version.Originally Posted by qwasder
