Well the support thread is locked so I figured I'd make this here for anyone having issues to report.
Twice now I've had the game ALT-TAB itself out to windows.
Okay, specifically once an ALT-TAB and the other time it decided to put itself into windowed mode without really being in a dragable window.
Other than that, this game is great.
**EDIT** fixed the title, kinda.
In Windows try going to bottom right corner where it says Show desktop, right click and disable "peek at desktop".
I don't have a feature like that. I'm running Vista 64 bit. Quick start bar disabled.Originally Posted by mutetusNot sure if any of that helps.
I don't know if it's only on the french version of the game, but both the 450cc and the Phoenix evo are named Phoenix Evo when you have to choose your bike !
I can't post a picture since it says I have to be active and post valid messages before.
Greetings,
Issues I've noticed...
1. Sometimes game just quits for no apparent reason, happened twice to date
2. Did the market meltdown achievement and got the broken bones one and not the market meltdown, so perhaps I should have got 2 but only got 1
3. Uplay is really annoying as it keeps popping up in game and I have to shift f2 to get rid of it
Well I don't know if it an issue or just my average PC, but the "saving..." part, where i asume it is saving a replay - takes to long in my opinion. Even on rather short and basic tracks (like "easy" difficulty ones) - the saving took me once up to 20 seconds!
Another minor issue that i assume also has to do with the replay mechanism, is a slight but noticable "stuttering" of the game sometimes while playing. Not so bad as to render the game unplayable, but definetly annoying and can be a major issue during more difficult levels.
Besides that, no real complains - loving the game, totally worth pre-purchasing and entering beta!
Poor optimization it seems, as others have said. It feels like it's running on my old laptop if I run it in 1920*1080. It's bad but not as bad at 1280*720.
My specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
ASUS Crosshair Formula V
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition (4-core, @3.4GHz)
4GB (2x2GB matched pair) OCZ PC3 10666 RAM
ASUS Radeon HD6870 1GB card (No crossfire/sli)
Seagate 1TB Barracuda ST1000DM003 (SATA3/7200/64M)

For comparison, I can run Battlefield 3 and Skyrim at 1920*1080 on high without problems, but this runs slow. Low FPS it seems - long loading times, etc.

Another two issues I've had;
When trying to upload videos; I get this message - http://i.imgur.com/w4aXH2w.jpg - it doesn't pop up an Internet browser window though, as it claims it will.
I got this connection error in the middle of playing and at the end of a level - but when checking on UPlay, I'm still connected - can still see friends online, etc. There's also no way to retry connection. - http://i.imgur.com/bjLeE2c.jpg
Hello !
Yes indeed, it happens to me aswell. Maybe it is some driver or optimisation issue.Originally Posted by UseLessUK
You can disable all Uplay popup fonctions in the settings. I really wish they would not have used something like that.Originally Posted by UseLessUK
Exactly the same for me, I don't recall saving being so long on Xbox, but it is very long sometimes here. Also same stuttering on the replays, specially when I push the slow motion button, and sometimes in the levels at specific points.Originally Posted by GoldenGman
I got a GTX 560 ti TF - i5 2500k - 3 Go RAM - Win7 32
And last thing, it would be nice to rebind the "share on youtube" button on the pad, it can be annoying when you restart a lot ^^
Otherwise, it is fantastic ! Runs very well at max settings, textures are a bit low but it is to be expected from a console port, and it is so much fun !! Well done guys !![]()
I had a lot of stuttering issues in the closed beta, but it ran just fine after I disabled vsync and enabled triple buffering in my graphics card settings. Now with the open beta, the stuttering is even worse, every time there are particle effects on screen, and I can't get it to improve, no matter what I do with my graphics card settings![]()
