So now you guys are saying that 50 "Good players" opinions matter more than 100,000 "Casual players" opinions.... That is one of the dumbest things i have ever heard.... Stop thinking you're say means more than others because you're more skilled than them...
Half the 48 hour feed is full of rubbish anyway,i enjoy well built ninja's anyway so rl dont get rid of them.
no. what im saying is, the 100,000 casual players dont get to give an opinion on the ninja tracks - because they cant finish them.Originally Posted by ClutchMystaFlex
so you get ratings only from people that are skilled at the game, people that understand and appreciate core trials gameplay, which are generally people that arent looking for golf games and dont move tracks - meaning ninjas get better average ratings based on the players they exclude, not based on the players that are interested in them.
getting rid of ninjas is a terrible idea you cant take something away from a whole group of gamers, but re-designing the layout is still my favorite opinion/idea, simply dedicate a whole feed section to ninjas only, ninja difficulty is that popular now that there is plenty of content to keep such a feed full, people wouldnt have to do special searches they simply just look in the search feeds they want, medium tracks will not be in direct contest with ninjas for a place in the feed
yes you can do detailed searches but not every1 knows this and as such a massive percentage of people will just be getting the mixed feed with ninjas at the top and missing out on finding easier tracks which in the long run really does effect a creators rates and downloads
- So my 6 words are -
Redlynx Please Create A Ninja Feed![]()
the problem with the ninja tracks is that a whole bunch of ppl try to build ninja tracks and so the TC is spammed with ****ty tracks!
a better solution would be to make a feed where only ninja tracks are shown!
there still be ****ty tracks but least non-ninja riders can "ignore" ninja tracks.
You can rate a track if you time/fault out. Not saying that's a solution. Just a fact.Originally Posted by WILLYUMZ
this is what i just said in the post above and yeah it is the best solution, i have said it a few times before hoping that redlynx might do something , here's to hopingOriginally Posted by LynxNinjaTrials![]()
Casual gamers opinions on games means sweet FAOriginally Posted by ClutchMystaFlexThey can have opinions, but those opinions would hold little weight. Casual gamer= plays games casually, as in not often. Therefore they do not know games too well. Usually only simple games too. Some casual gamers play simplistic games obsessively, displaying hardcore behavior- games such as Bejewled, Peggle and Trials
If so, then thier opinion on that specific game would have some weight.
I know you can but its very unlikely casual players unable to finish a track are gonna sit there for half an hour just to rate it.Originally Posted by Stego111

my point was, the reason ninja tracks are artificially high-rated is because they avoid the mainstream "gimmick or I one-star it" mentality, because theyre immune from the casuals.
