Voice chat is an important part of the Trials experience, it would be nice to have a way to communicate easily, it will never be as easy as on the 360 but it would be nice to set up a group of players easily accessible for voice chatting, the only question is, can we find a program that would suit everybody. I am not too knowledgeable on the subject so feel free to chime in, what should be the "official" or mainstream way of talking between Trials players on PC?
Hmm I thought someone set up a teamspeak account a long while ago that was never used? I could be wrong.
I was looking into getting a TS3 or mumble server for this purpose to run along side the steam group![]()
What about Steam voice chat? Does anybody have experience with that?
Skype is only fine if you're a few players together, but yeah. Teamspeak should be the best way to go since there is a lot of difference rooms etc.![]()
I read that Microsoft have plans to replace Xbox live party chat with Skype soon
Isnt there a chat program called vent or something? Vetrillo...???
Yeah, ventrillo, but it is pretty much the same as Teamspeak :9
you are clearly doing something wrong then.Originally Posted by QcChopper

skype is **** too because you have to call/accept
Teamspeak/Mumble/Ventrilo are the best programs. I've been using Teamspeak 2 & 3 for nearly 10 years now and I'm fine with that. All you do is start the client, connect to the ip, and you can choose between channels of your choice and instantly talk to the people. I could set up a new teamspeak maybe..
